"This was a great place to stay, and the staff made it so! The pool was fabulous. The breakfast was very good and enjoyed by all the game room needs updating and there was a leak in the hallway, but it did not stop us from having a wonderful time kudos to the Cleaning staff, andthe front desk they were amazing"

"This place was an absolute dump (literally). The property itself was covered in trash, around all sides of the building. Garbage. Everywhere. Perhaps partially due to the fact that aren't actually any trash cans outside. "Clean up after your pet".... well, I left my poop bags on the ground with everyone else's, because there was nowhere else to leave them. There's a beautiful white water stream behind the hotel... ruined by dumped trash all around and an abandoned dump of a building that should be leveled, not accessible to anyone walking their dog back there. The place is under active construction, to the point that it should not even be open for business. They advertise a restaurant and game room - both closed. The 'game room' is a dark empty room with an old tread mill in it. The building itself is depressing. Our room was on the 2nd floor, which is actually 2 floors below the lobby. You feel like you're in the basement and there is no easy way out. No easy way to get you dog outside except up 2 floors and out the lobby front door. It made me think about how the hell we would get out fast if there was an emergency (fire). The place is a disgrace. I can't believe the room was $135 (with a military discount). After seeing the place, I would have expected around $65 as a nightly rate. I cannot make a strong enough recommendation to AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST."

"My fiance had a 2 week Christmas vacation for the first time in forever he booked a stay at comfort inn in white haven and it was absolutely horrible. Their breakfast was horrible tasted like cardboard most of the staff was extremely rude except for the 2 women that work the front desk the hotel smelled the toilet didn't work properly my fiance had to fix the chain on the toilet multiple times the first night the hot water didn't even work. There was absolutely no game room which they advertise that they have they just don't actually have it the gym room was nothing but a treadmill and a bike. There were these kids just running around (I know parents need to watch their kids trust me I know) no one was enforcing it these kids were running in and out of the pool area running around. There was so much dust in the room me and my 11 year old were having allergy attacks like crazy. My home isn't perfect but when you go to hotel you just expect certain things to be a certain way. At the very least they should have told the kids parents that they need to watch their kids and the toilet should have at least been in working condition. There were a few days where there was absolutely no towels in the pool area. Not very happy with my stay at all and will never be going back there."

"This place was horrible, we went for Christmas please make sure you bring the Lysol. the people were nice the place sucks, the best thing about this hotel was the pool. The location was horrible the GPS continued to take you in circles. Run don't walk away from this place. The game room doesn't exist and the Hang Out is closed."

"I love Choice Hotels and have stayed in dozens of them. This was the worst one by far! Choice Hotels should be ashamed to allow this owner to use the brand name. The place is in bad shape, super dated and dirty. The owner must be making “repairs@ himself. The caulking around the tub looks like a child did it. Holes in the walls are patched with what might be painted duck tape. No stopper in the sink and the sink smells! The room was dusty and the bathroom dirty. Lobby was the same. The lobby furniture is falling apart. Now on to the breakfast, gag! The worst powder eggs ever! All this and 1/2 the staff was grumpy! How could they not be? You should have seen the ancient Polaris they had for the maintenance worker, it was bad! Just another example of how cheap this owner is. I don’t normally gives such a horrible review. The reason it gets two stars is because half of the staff was very nice and the location is great."
