"I found Mona on Instagram after searching for 3 years for a competent, expert hairstylist and colorist in the MoCo region. From the moment I met her, she was attentive, kind, and patiently listened to my concerns. She asked me kindly if I would be open to her suggestions on additional issues with my hair, and she made some valid points. She not only gave me a great haircut, but she also educated me on my hair quality and how to best tackle some issues with uneven growth and color that I was having. I returned about 1.5 months later and she was able to fix much of my hair color unevenness caused by another colorist by giving me a very flattering and gorgeous set of full highlights. She also outlined a plan for us to tackle the stubborn brassiness at the bottom of my hair with future haircuts and toning sessions. I've been told by several friends and family that my hair has never looked better IN MY LIFE, and it feels amazing to not only have great hair but have met such a great artist who cares about my beauty needs. I also appreciate that she has her own large salon space which affords more privacy and comfort, rather than renting a chair in a crowded retail floor. One note: you should park in the Auburn - Del Ray garage in order to visit Mona's salon. Park on the second or third floor for appointments longer than 2 hours!"

She is much better at doing my hair than any barber I came across in the few years I’ve lived in the area.
