"I had my hair and makeup done at Bella Bethesda for my wedding and everyone was wonderful to work with. They were easy to schedule with, including for my trial. Marea did my hair and did an amazing job listening to what I wanted. She was able to include a family heirloom brooch as a hair piece and miraculously only used one bobby pin in my hair! Rebecca did my makeup and she is fantastic."

"Hands down one of the best curly cuts I've ever had! I have 3b/3c curls that are long and thick, and I was in desperate need of long layers to give my hair some shape and make it more manageable. Rebecca was recommended to me by a mom in my group, and she did an amazing job! She cut the layers to give me the oval shape I wanted (as opposed to the triangular shape that I have sometimes ended up with at other salons). She also kept my hair at a decent, long length, and the cut really enhanced my curl pattern. I'm already pre-booked with her for my next trim. The salon itself is lovely with very kind staff, and it was overall a great experience. The price was reasonable, too."

"I came in from out of town for a wedding- made appointments ahead of time by email for my daughter and I for updos at Bella for the morning of the wedding. We get there at 10 only to be told our stylist had an emergency and could not come. With no solutions offered to our situation. They had a wrong number for me- not sure where they got it from since I made the appointments by email- and kept repeating there was nothing they could do for us except offer a discount for future services- knowing full well we do not live in town and how impossible it is to get any hair appointments on a Saturday morning with a wedding to get to at 3pm. I stood my ground repeating they had to find a solution for us- even simple blow outs. Only to be told again there was nothing they could do. I asked to see the manager and she was not there. Anyone in charge? No - only the receptionist who was obviously not equipped or willing to handle mishaps. How do I rate any service industry business? With how they come through when unexpected things come up. Bella failed in the biggest way. DO NOT GO THERE if you need to feel safe that your well made plans in a city far from home will be honored. SO DISAPPOINTED."
