"Steve and Libby Whittier of East End Corp are unprofessional, disrespectful and terrible slumlords whose properties are over-priced and not well managed. Signing their month-to-month "lease" would be one of the worst decisions a person could make. In the brief time I had the unfortunate experience of being a tenant under this company, my roommate and I were unfairly judged, wrongly accused of breaking rules, and asked to leave after we had done nothing wrong. Steve Whitter is well known around the Portland area for taking his tenants to court, almost as though he has nothing better to do with his time and money. East End Corp's vague month-to-month agreement only allows the landlords to push around their tenants and suck every penny they can out of them before screwing them over. Any attempt to compromise with these people will just end in frustration over being treated with such unprofessionalism by people who think they are better than you. Do not expect any respect or fair treatment from these people and their sorry excuse for a business. I sincerely advise anyone to look elsewhere for renting around the Portland, ME, area."
