"We have stayed several times over the years. Much nicer and cozier than staying at a chain hotel. Nice old building with plenty of character. Pleasant staff and clean room."

"Way nicer than expected based on some earlier reviews. Classy room, clean, character and special. Free breakfast and lower cost than almost anything in Portland. We went for the shared bath, and never saw another guest. Would stay again!"

"The coffee maker in my room did not work. The person before me also figured this out the hard way, as their water was still in the coffee machine. The rooms have sinks but no private bathrooms. Which I was aware of before making the reservation. But the sink is clogged as can be. It's a pretty simple fix. Just take the PVC elbow off of the pipe under the sink and clean it out... Bed was not anywhere near new. In fact, it was old. The breakfast was really good. They had about a good a spread as I have ever seen for a continental breakfast. And the location was great as well..."

"I truly enjoyed my stay here. I usually don't review hotels, but I'll come back to stay here next time I'm in Portland. My room was huge and had more than enough amenities. It had a spa tub, but I didn't have time to use it. Because of the old brick walls, it was super quiet in my room, which was perfect. The location is good, only like a 5 minute drive to downtown. 100% will stay here again."

"The room was very cute and clean. The staff was polite and accommodating. We made sure to ask for a private bathroom. Parking is an issue given that you may have to park about a block away. The breakfast was disappointing, just some generic pastries and coffee. The location is questionable. During the day it is safe to walk to the downtown district. However, at night I would drive or Uber. Overall for the price compared to other spots, the place was relatively reasonable."
