"I am here while my husband is in the hospital. The staff is amazing, location is close to everything. The room is immaculate and the bathroom is wonderful. Beautiful space inside and out. If you need a place to stay this is it. I will definitely stay here every time I’m in the Portland area!"

He made it a seamless fix. The room was absolutely gorgeous with views of all the beautiful brick buildings of Portland."

"One of the better Westins I have stayed at. Received a complimentary suite upgrade and early check in during peak fall season. The concierge James was literally one of the friendliest and helpful I have ever met. As a lifetime gold (now Titanium member), I can say that he made a huge difference taking over 20 minutes to talk about places to go and providing context to other New England cities. Also had an excellent experience at the Top of the East bar that has sweeping views of the city and harbor especially at sunset. Our server Kristal at the bar was amazing and friendly, she really made us feel like we were experiencing Westin quality service at its best. We loved this hotel and will be back. Location is about a 10 walk from the downtown tourist area so very accessible and a nice area. Will come again."

"Really 3.5 stars. Location is pretty good. There is valet parking ($42/day) or a discounted rate at the self-parking garage next to it ($33/day). There is a covered walkway from the garage to the hotel, which is good in the rain. The staff I encountered were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was mostly good, with a lot of space. There are thoughtful items, such as q-tips, shower caps, etc. However, it definitely needed a more thorough cleaning. There was a wax residue or something on an end table. And there was hair on the shower wall (was not ours). Also, the bed was not comfortable (unless you like super firm beds). I'm not sure I'd stay again; perhaps I'd go back to the AC Marriott, where I had a great stay previously. (Stayed October 2023)"

"Fantastic hotel and experience. Guest services was so friendly and helpful. They were able to adjust our booking to ensure the family received conjoining rooms. No hassle at all. The location is very well kept and clean. Beds were pretty comfortable too. Definitely will be staying here again if I am in the area. The spa downstairs is also wonderful!"
