"Great staff, all customer areas were well kept and clean. One issue was the shower head and around the tub spout was black mold. The second issue were patrons holding a gab fest in the hallway near our room at 4 in the morning"
"The make-over is beautiful. The rooms are refreshed and the hotel has a welcoming feel once again. Plus the parking garage is a huge bonus. Loved being able to have cocktails and dinner before heading to a concert. Woke up and had a surprisingly delicious breakfast which outdid the Hilton Hotels by a long shot."
"Very very dirty and old hotel. The toilet seat was disconnected from the toilet and covered in #1 and #2 stains. Mirrors, light bulbs, and picture frames were missing and the room smelled musky. When I asked staff to move rooms, they said thanks for letting us know and didn't offer another room. Stay away from the restaurant unless you want food poising and cold soup. I stayed here back in 2017 and had a very pleasant experience so I was a bit baffled by how it went downhill."
"I booked this hotel for two main reasons - the location and the pool - and both exceeded expectations. The hotel is located just a 5-10 minute walk to the downtown area with restaurants, shopping and activities and there were sidewalks all the way. We walked to all of our meals and to the movie theater just a few blocks away. The hockey arena is only a block or so down the same street as the hotel as well. Both the pool and deck area are large. My tweens were thrilled for plenty of room to swim and the seven foot deep end, which seems rare to find in a city hotel. The pool was warm and clean and towels were available at all times. The hotel staff was friendly and professional and quickly helped any time we needed something. I booked a corner room for a small increase in the fee and that extra space was fantastic for a few days stay with tween boys. The beds were comfortable, the blackout shades kept the morning light at bay and the room had good storage space. We appreciated the environmentally conscious features in the hotel. The lobby has a water bottle filling station, which I liked for being able to fill up our bottles and reducing the single use plastic in the hotel. Our bathroom had normal sized bottles of lotion and hand soap instead of travel sized. Another plus for reduction of single use plastic!"
"Overall, this was a pretty decent place. While our room had a few oddities and things that did puzzle me, the staff were nice and the location can't be beat. the parking is a little funky, but for $15/day you can't beat that compared to other properties. Went here for a conference, a good size venue for a couple hundred folks."
