"I am thankful that I live in an apartment property that is safe, quiet, well maintained, friendly and convenient to all that the Portland area has to offer while giving the feeling of living in an area out of town. I am thankful For Lyndsay and Lauren, the leasing consultants. They always address any concerns, politely, quickly and professionally. The maintenance is professional, polite, prompt and knowledgeable to address any issues that come up. Most issues are resolved within 24 hours and the always clean up when they finish the job. I am thankful that I don't have to shovel or plow snow as this service is provided by a private contractor who is very prompt and does a great job. I am especially thankful for Lauren for the fantastic job she does in communicating policies with all the residents. I am thankful that I have lived at Princeton Ridge for the past 12 years and can look forward to living here with no thought of moving. I just want to add that I have now been here for 13 plus year and Princeton Ridge continues to provide the fantastic service, care and professional inter action that it has since I moved here in 2010. The cost of the rent for the service I receive is more than competitive with other properties in the area. This is still a very safe, well maintained place to live. Landscaping is excellent I don't mow, shovel or plow. If something gets broken of malfunctions, the professional maintenance is quickly there to fix it. The other tenants are all very quiet and friendly. Finally, the leasing office staff, Lyndsay and Lauren are always there to provide answers to any questions and resolve any issues that may be of concern. I am sure we will not be moving for a long time. Jim C"
"I moved here within the past year from several hundred miles away. The property accommodated my need to visit a sample unit a month before I moved in, on a frigid and snowy Saturday. Lauren especially was so helpful in guiding me through the application and move-in process. I admittedly had sticker shock at the rent, but have come to realize I have a true bargain in Portland for the space and quality! I LOVE that this is a non-smoking property!"
"Whenever I make important financial decisions I look at the worst reviews to find out what could possibly go wrong. I didn’t find any of the negatives to be current issues. My townhouse was immaculate when I moved in. The kitchen has all new cabinets and drawers. My next door neighbor recently moved. I noticed their kitchen is being completely done over. All the windows are new and air tight. Even though parking spaces aren’t assigned there are always spaces right behind my back door. The size is great for a townhouse. The kitchen is sizable. There’s a back patio with sliding glass doors leading to it from the kitchen. The master bedroom is good size. There’s plenty of closet space in the bedrooms. The grounds are nice. The location is convenient to services."
"Update: 2 months in and I am still impressed by the kindness I've been shown from the team. Work orders continue to get processed quickly and efficiently which really is helpful. I am thankful that in the short time I needed to move my unit opened up. 2 days in and so far I couldn't be happier with Lauren and her team. They quickly take care of anything I need."
"I would've given 0 stars if I could but here are just a few things I have to say... There are a couple of good things about this apartment complex: the location and the size of the units. Otherwise, I wish I could have moved out sooner. FYI, I lived there since November of 2016. And here are just some of the bad experiences that come to mind: - The management simply changes the rules at their convenience, specifically regarding parking. All residents signed an agreement that parking was to be assigned, then not so long after they responded to any call regarding somebody else in the parking spot that was assigned to me by telling me to park in the guest space, since parking was a shared, and anybody could park anywhere they pleased. - The upstairs window was so old that it started literally falling apart during winter-spring of 2020 mind you they were replacing windows at that time. I was told that I wasn't scheduled to get new windows until mid-late 2021, therefore, they decided to sent a maintenance person to hammer a few nails in different spots to keep the window somewhat in tact, it was no longer possible to open the window either. That worked well for about a month and a half. - Some plumbing went faulty, which led to the shower flooding. Here's another brilliant solution, "You won't be able to take a shower for a few days until we come fix it." Wow, just wow. To make things worse, they never checked to see if anything was wrong with any electrical components downstairs due to the flooding, their solution was to paint over the wet spot and call it good. - During move in I was told that there are going to be additional charges for pets, which are there to cover for miscellaneous damages. Which sounds reasonable, however in reality none of it counted. It was just wasted money paid to the company. - I have some friends and associates who were completely shocked by the lease break fees. I heard about their experiences mainly with Bellport, that went out of their way to work with the residents and ensure that the move out process is as simple as possible, especially considering the demand for apartments in Portland. Here's one of the Bellport experiences, they modified the lease to be month-to-month and prorated one of the months while the residents closed on a house and moved out. Compared to Princeton... $3.1K in fees to break the lease plus 2 months worth of rent, then I had to deal with pushy emails asking that I sign the the move out document (even though the document stated that I had time until move out date to do it) with no regard for other plans and how long it took to actually get an appraisal, set the closing date, etc. All of that to start advertising the apartment and trying to find new residents. I will emphasize this again, those two months were paid for, the document itself stated that it did not need to be submitted until the end of that period, and I am paying extra $3.1K to get out."
