"Bought 2 pairs of boots a few months ago. Both pairs claim to be waterproof, neither one made it past 6 months. Didn't bother asking for a warranty for the one pair as I've been pretty hard on them, however the second pair, I started wearing a couple months ago on and off to break them in. Well they leaked, long story short the manager did a leak check and replaced them. I got nothing against the store but I'm pretty disappointed in Red Wing boots. Been buying them since 2010, my oldest pair is 8 years old and still waterproof but these new ones aren't as good as they used to be."

"I'm a mechanic.I cam into the store was greeted. directed to the steel toe work boot section. Before finding the pair of boots the clerk offered to size my foot, then i chose the boot. He brought me the boot in two sizes because of the slight difference in my feet size. I was encouraged to put the full pair on walked around on the concrete floor. He asked me how they felt. He asked if my heel washed around? Then we tried another set.. That was perfect. I wore them the complete Day today. very happy, I wasn't expecting the personal treatment I received. I will continue to use the Clifton park store. I drove 52 minutes and the service was above and beyond. I want to personally thank Chip Read for his service."

"I walked in and within 30 seconds the friendly staff member was there to assist me. She measured my feet and went to grab a pair of boots from the back to try on..they were a perfect fit and i walked out with those boots all in less than 15 min. I was very pleased"
