"Absolutely despicable customer service. The cashier was extremely rude and dismissive and dropped my change into my hand. The store is crowded and unorganized. The owner continues to ignore reviews about the ghastly customer service! I would never shop here and would rather donate my clothes than try to sell them here so they can make a profit. Do better!!"

"i love the idea of plato’s and i used to really like this location. the most recent time i went i was extremely disappointed. i walked in with two bags of name brand, new, clothing; some w tags still on. everything was in really good condition. i waited in the area for the hour it took and they gave me practically nothing for it. i’m talking clothes that have never been worn name brand. there was a big sign saying they needed athletic clothing, yet they rejected the never worn nike and under armor i tried to sell. i walked around the store and it was overpacked, clothes were ripped or dirty or just generally way out of style. im more confused than anything else."

"The employees that work here are upper middle class mannerless snobs. You can tell they could care less about their jobs, and have their parents to fall back on. I've been here a handful of times and not once has any of these employees said excuse me or even tried to help me out. It's always one person on the register and 5+ people sorting through inventory whilst having extended conversations which wouldn't be a problem if it didn't interfere with their jobs. I've been to other locations that get the same amount of work done in half the time. This whole crew needs to be either replaced or retrained and taught that if you want to service people and get paid for it, do it the right way, and with respect. Mind you this is coming from a 20 year old college student! Do better!!!"

"2 stars just because they have a great selection of clothes. Or else I’d give it 0 if I could. The customer service is non existent here. I sat in “line” for 10 minutes watching 6 different employees sort through clothes behind the counter. There was one woman in front of me, she seemed to be waiting a long time as well. As soon as she was checked out I made my way to the counter expecting to be checked out as well and I had to sit there for another 5 minutes while a young man, who looked as an employee got cashed out instantly. So 15 minutes in total, and not one employee or who seemed to be a manager behind the counter acknowledged a paying customer waiting to be checked out. A simple I’ll be with you in one moment would have done fine. 6 employees sorting through clothes and it took 15 minutes to ring out ONE PERSON! I will not be returning. This was extremely frustrating and unprofessional."

"For some reason I always come back here even though everytime I leave very annoyed and disappointed. First off, the employees are not helpful at all, they are only focused on getting their “tasks “ for the day done while chatting away non stop. Every time I come in here I hear at least one employee trash talking. The store is already WAYYYYY to crowded and loaded with items as you can’t even go through the racks because it’s impossible to move anything around to see what they are . I’ve seen at least 10 or more items everytime I come in with stains, rips, tears . I even bought a Very Torn up dress once and was only offered a dollar off it ! I had to go home and sew it up in many torn sports. I also hate when o see an original tag from MArshalls or Tj max for $10 and they are trying to sell it for $15 . Or an original tag on a pair of shorts marked clearance at your or navy for $4.99 and they still have it listed for $10 at Plato’s ! They can’t even take the time to check the price on the listed tag. I’ve seen this same problem at the baby store too. All the clothes lately have been very cheap, skimpy tops from Shein . Behind the counter is disgusting, there is no where yo walk. They leave peoples bags of clothes in the middle of the store."
