"After having a poor experience with a previous day care center, I enrolled my son into Treefrog in Rochester approximately two years ago. The owner, Ashley, was very empathetic, friendly, welcoming and passionate about the profession. Her education and background in childcare and management ensured me she would run a professional, safe and friendly center where my son could thrive. Since being at Treefrog, my son has come out of his shell more, learned amazing skills to prepare him for kindergarten, and has made lots of new friends. We have loved all the teachers and staff and are very impressed with the communication from the center as well as the teachers. This center is very hands on- from organizing spirit weeks, community interaction, and sensory/education activities- we could not have picked a better center. I would highly recommend Treefrog to any parent looking for childcare!"
"This daycare is horrible and made our family miserable. Please take my advice and don’t take your children here. Some teachers are rough with the kids and don’t pay any attention to them. The owner puts on a fake front like she’s nice, but only cares about money and is 100% NOT for the families and children, only for herself. They claim they open their doors at 7 but the staff shows up late every single morning or just sits in the office in the dark and lets the parents wait outside. Some teachers have no idea about what is age appropriate. There is a lack of experience and knowledge with children. They will force you to bring your kid to the doctors for a head cold before they can return back. Meanwhile you pay $300 a week for them to make up every reason and rule not to watch your child. My son was being allowed to climb furniture due to not being monitored properly and fell and hit his head while another kid broke his foot from being allowed to jump off furniture. They suggested speech therapy to my child whom speaks very clearly and is very good at communicating and told me he was “emotional” a lot (let me add that he’s only 2). When I confronted them about the speech therapy i was told “they just throw it out there because one of the kids parents there is a speech therapist”… the staff is coming and going constantly. Absolutely no consistency with teachers. My son is thriving since pulling him out. We were at the berwick location but have heard it’s the same at all 3. There are much better childcare centers in the area so save yourself the stress!!"
