"Very disappointed with Windsor Villages. After completing my 3rd year of leasing, I was seeking a short term lease before moving to a different part of the state. 36 months of rent and not one missed or late rent payment. My year long lease was just around 3200/month. A 3 month lease costs more than $6000 per month. Over $18,000 for 3 months... I really hope this was a system error Shocked to see this company has no respect for long term tenants"
"I’ve been living here for 3 years now and I love the community but they do not value your loyalty and business. Every year regardless of how long you choose to renew for, there is no grace with rent increase. Every year I get a $300-$500 rent increase. Amenities were not available for an entire year up until recently. I love this community but if you are looking for long term rental this may not be the community for you. Despite the drastic rent increase every year, I do love this community."
"The Windsor Village staff are decent although expecting urgency in communications or in addressing your concerns will leave you disappointed. The maintenance team is great, as many others state, which is a big plus as you'll be seeing them often. The apartment we rented showed us a standard of living we hope never to revisit. When we moved in, we found traces of mice, so so much dust, and a strong animal/urine-like smell in the living room. There were mouse droppings along the walls, old mice nests under the dishwasher and oven, and a few dead mice caught in traps. There was an enormous amount of dust in the carpets and in the air which made us sneeze and cough intermittently. It should all have been cleaned BEFORE we moved in. The WV staff scheduled duct cleaning and pest control, but pretended that residents had never before complained about mice. The pest control guy told me he visits WV every week...come on! The mouse issue was resolved but the dust problem persisted. Neither pest control, maintenance, nor duct cleaning could fix the animal/urine smell in the living room, so it lingered throughout our stay. It got worse when it rained and we were too disgusted/embarrassed about it to invite any guests over. The appliances and fixtures were no different than the apartment itself. We spent 6 humid summer weeks without AC before our entirely rusted out unit could be replaced. To the credit of the WV staff, they got us a window AC unit for our primary bedroom after several weeks, but it only cooled this one room. WV also helped cover the increase in our utilities bill from this separate AC unit, which was nice. Still, we worked from home with sweat dripping down our foreheads for 6 weeks while paying rent for a place with functional AC. The stove was filthy and we had to clean the burnt up food residue left under the elements by previous tenants because it would start smoking if we cooked anything. The washing machine somehow left our clothes dirtier: filled with lint and dust and needing a thorough lint-rolling after every cycle. A gross experience altogether. We never heard our neighbors and we were thankful for the sound insulation and privacy at WV. Overall, Windsor Village was not worth the rent we paid. They raised our rent by 20% in the following year...so long!"
"I've been living here for a few months now. Pros: Great views Great maintenance team Quiet and safe community Ample parking spaces available Cons: Electricity bill is extremely high 1 bedroom apartments don't have enough sound proofing and the walls are pretty thin. Apartments facing the other side of the parking lot don't have directions for people coming from the parking lot."
"We lived there for 2.5 years and we really enjoyed it. The maintenance team is great (very efficient on snow days!), the pool is great and by far the best part: the patio!"
