"Pros: The place is beautiful and the location is great. Cons: #1 is that The Manager (Rickie) is rude, condescending and completely useless to effect any kind of improvements. For the kind of $$ you pay it would be amazing if there were: 1. Anywhere to deposit dog waste. 2. Protected from the rain, on balcony. 3. Any order to the mail room, its a literal free for all. 4. A community board. 5. More than once access point for building. 6. More than ONE maintenance worker. 7. Rumble strips put on the narrow road, to keep drivers to the slower speed to safely pass dog walkers."
"Very nice apartment. Large rooms, bedrooms and plenty of windows over looking the river and nature preserve. Plenty of parking, even in the garage, can find a space at any given time. The natural light and privacy is a plus. No noisy trains! Staff is extremely friendly and responsive. Even the maintenance support is spot on, and the do answer items in short time. Would live here again, sign a long term lease and would recommend it to anyone moving to Wilmington, De area. Good luck on apartment hunting, folks."
"Hard to believe this location is in Wilmington… stunning scenery and beautiful architecture reinvented while paying homage to the history of Bancroft Mill. And there’s a waterfall! A welcome retreat from the congestion and distractions from the city. Excellent for bird watching & nature photography."
"I've lived here for about 3 months now... and I absolutely love it. I moved from a home to a flat on the River Front, but knew this was the place for me after my tour. Chase and Alexandria have been awesome to work with... (angels compared to other leasing office staff that I've dealt with in the past). From the apartment to the amenities we have been very happy. Our dog has even made some friends. So far maintenance has been very responsive and friendly. Looking forward to seeing the leaves change colors with the Autumn months rolling in."
"This was one of the biggest disappointments. We moved here to be in a quiet spot with a pool while we saved up for a house. While we did move in knowing they were going to be building another building, we did not expect a fourth and were told all the amenities were to be finished by the end of the summer in 2020. The inside amenities were finished by the fall of 2020, and the pool was not even dug until late last year. It is still not finished, and there has been ongoing construction for 2 years straight. There is only one way in, and my fiance and I were stuck behind construction vehicles somewhat often. We were eventually unable to use our balcony due to the constant dust from the construction, and our cars are covered in dirt every day. The balconies above you will leak onto yours when it rains or they unfortunately dump dirty water onto your chairs or other furniture. Ours have since been ruined. The photo is about two-three days after we cleaned. My fiance has had nails in his tires as the construction vehicles often parked in the main parking lot. We couldn't leave the windows open on the weekdays from the dust and noise. I had to stop working nights because I would consistently get an hour of sleep in the morning when I got home before it started. It is only quiet on weekends, they seem to start around 8 and not stop until 5 or 6. It did all die down once they finished the third building, as management had promised, however started right up again with no warning when they began building four. They tore down signs residents put up our first year inviting people to join a facebook group with residents (to be fair, that might be some sort of lease clause or rule I am unaware of, I just thought it was odd). Many residents including myself have had packages stolen repeatedly (that issue seems to have quieted down) and their cars broken into. I believe one was actually stolen. The parking garage flooded in both buildings. We re-signed thinking the construction was almost over as we had been told by management it would be. Our rent even increased by around $200 but the living conditions got worse. They tore up pretty much every tree and bush along the view. Every other week it was something new. Location is great but it was definitely not worth it. Disclaimer, I lived on the parking lot side close to the main building, and the construction. I have definitely seen other residents have similar complaints in the facebook group but am not sure where they live in the complex. For me personally, it was a huge waste."
