Residence Inn by Marriott Wilmington Downtown 1300 North Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19801

"When my fiancé and I arrived we got room 715. That room was ice cold and the heater did not work. They moved us to room 415. That room always ice cold as well and the heater didn’t work in that room either. They moved us to room 516 and finally, a room that was warm. Only, this was a studio and I paid for the larger unit with the one bedroom. Also, some person told me I could park out front of the hotel all night. Not sure who this person was but the one who issued us the room was hearing this person as well. He told us we could park out front since we were only staying for the night. In the morning, there was a sticky note claiming I was parked in the valet section. So, employees there do not communicate with the next shift coming in. Not one employee had a uniform nor a name tag. Nothing whatsoever to identify that they were, in fact, an employee. However, the man who waited on us was courteous and nice about everything. We stayed there just this past Saturday night. So 01/06/24 to 01/07/24. We will definitely not be staying in this place ever again."

"I had a wonderful time recently visiting this location. The room was clean and very nice. John at the front desk was very friendly and efficient and always willing to help. All of the staff I interacted with were nice and helpful (especially the breakfast staff). When I come back for work I will definitely stay here again."

"This is my favorite hotel to stay in when visiting the area. I have stayed at this hotel many times and it remains one of the most reliable and well kept hotel in the area. The rooms are always cleaned very well and fully stocked with clean dishes, kitchen ware, and bathroom necessities. The check in times are very flexible and there’s always someone at the front desk. I would highly recommend especially for extended stays!"

"Nice, adequate hotel. I have no complaints but nothing really stands out either. Oh! They do have karaoke on certain nights! can’t remember which ones. And they also have a great list at the front desk of different places to grab something to eat at in Wilmington. The staff is always very nice!"
