"This beautiful new hotel is built right new to the Christina river so if you get lucky your room will be have a beautiful view like mine did. Devon was really friendly and helpful, I didn’t get the feeling I was being bothersome at all even though I did need help several times. I don’t think hotels understand how far free breakfast will go in attracting customers."
"This seemingly new property was very nice & very clean! The hospitality upon arrival was very nice & informative. I was very pleased with my accommodation with a partial river view, king bed & fully stocked kitchenette. The bed was medium to medium firm which I enjoyed & slept with no issue. The Hilton App allowed me to control every aspect of the TV allowing me to sign in to my own Netflix acct without needing to type in my password which can sometimes be a headache. The Hilton App also provides an interactive tv guide which made channel surfing a breeze. I would say this stay was a steal at the asking price considering they offer free hot breakfast as well as a cocktail hour offering free wine & snacks."
"Beautifully decorated lobby with a $45 parking fee per day, clean rooms, many options. There’s a rooftop bar, a fitness center that will get you through a light workout, there are a couple of cardiovascular machines, a cable machine, and some weights with a maximum of 50 pounds. There is one bench and two mats, and filtered water. The staff are very helpful and nice. The breakfast was on point and the dining room was cleaned constantly by staff. Make sure you get a homemade waffle or pancake."
"I stayed here for one night last week while I was in town for a conference and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. For starters, the two front desk staff members I interacted with couldn't have seemed less interested in carrying out even the basic tasks of their jobs. But the main issue was that the room they assigned me smelled overwhelmingly of urine as well as whatever chemical they threw on top of the urine to try to get rid of the smell - resulting in the room smelling like an airplane bathroom. When I reported this to the front desk they said the rooms were full and I couldn't move to a new room (fine) and that they would send someone to address it. First they sent someone to 'fix' the garbage disposal, which had nothing to do with the urine smell, and then they sent someone to 'clean the carpet' but all they did was throw more chemicals on top of the urine soaked carpet, making it smell even worse. When I brought it up again, they said it was too late to provide a refund - even though they had never indicated there was a time limit on receiving a refund - and that there was nothing they could do to help me. They suggested I file a claim with Hilton, which I did. Hilton's resolution was to offer me Hilton Honors points, which is not a resolution. For $220/night (or more) I would at least expect to stay in a room that doesn't smell of urine. There are lots of hotels in this vicinity and if you have the option, you should definitely choose to stay at a different one."
"We recently stayed here for a relatives wedding. The wedding was at 4:30 PM and the hotel would not allow anyone to check in prior to 4 PM so we all needed to book the day before in order to have a room to change in. Even the brides mother who wanted to check in early, so she did not need to check in after the wedding, was told there was nothing that could done to allow her to check in at 2 PM. We found a dark stain on one of the bedspreads of a bed we had not used yet, we called the front desk at 2 PM on Saturday and asked if it could be changed and were told there was nothing that could be done, that all cleaning staff left at 11 AM. So, if the cleaning staff was done at 11 AM than why did we all have to wait until 4 PM to check in, this makes no sense. Also, both mornings there was no coffee, when we went to the front desk to ask for coffee the woman who ran the breakfast area was chatting with the front desk staff and said she was very busy. It also appeared they were allowing people not staying at the hotel to come in for breakfast. Other guests in our party were sent to another hotel because they were told there was no hot water. The staff seemed indifferent and was not in the least bit apologetic. I would not recommend staying at this hotel."
