Merritt Furnished Apartments New Haven 274 Crown Street, New Haven, CT 06511

"Prepared to find dirty rugs, a full bed (not queen… if you are tall like me you will have problems), old cook materials, no heating-just a noisy air conditioner. The sofa is a little dirty. The gym is in other building… not at Crown street building that is in fact located at 18th High street. For the price over 5k per month, I was expecting more…I had more in Boston, New York and Paris. The good point is the location ( I was doing a Sabbatical at Medical School) and the lady on the office- always kind to answer your questions For personal reasons I decided to leave earlier and there was no negotiation . I had to pay the full month because of course this is not included on the contract.My mistake! The photos of the apartment are nice but do not reflect the reality."

"I stayed at one of their furnished studio apartment for three months. The entire place was beautiful, very well kept, organized and decorated. I felt super safe while in the apartment: in order to enter any building/door, you need your access key. Since the apartment is located downtown, it was extremely convenient to walk to any place and grab something to eat. The staff at merrit apartments are phenomenal: friendly, attentive and helpful. They are very quick to respond if you need anything. You will be amazed at this place when u take a tour, overall, an amazing experience."

"I stayed at Merritt Furnished Apartments for a short term travel assignment. The apartment was perfect. Nicole and David were so accommodating providing extra hangers, blankets, towels, etc. They stayed in touch to make sure I had everything I needed. You are within walking distance to Yale Hospital which was nice and I always felt safe due to campus security and the new haven police constantly patrolling . The area is in the middle of restaurants and shopping, which is perfect if you don’t have a car. Parking garage is included if you do have a car. The unit is new, clean and chic and very spacious.. In unit washer and dryer were an added bonus. The community is small and the neighbors are very polite towards each other. I would recommend this community and would love to go back if I do another Travel assignment in New Haven."
