"We rented the 2 bedroom loft. We needed a space to prep for an upcoming event. Immediately walking in, this place was disgusting. Huge stains on the carpet throughout. Burn marks all over the counter tops in the kitchen. The bathroom had mold and rust stains all around the toilet. It smelled like cigarettes and mold. This ish cost $331 for a night. Beyond disrespectful. Needs a complete makeover. Yuck."

"If I could give 0 stars I would. This hotel STOLE $150 from me, I booked my night online through Expedia and they held my card for a deposit they said I would get back the next day. I was charged $150. when I called nobody knew why I was charged and said they would be refunding me. It has now been over a month that I have not received any refund. I’ve called 7 separate times and a manager was supposed to contact me back and never did. This place is shady and steals from the people that stay there and make it such a hassle to get in contact with someone who can do anything about it. DO NOT STAY HERE."

"my partner booked us a room here for my birthday but we ended up having to get a new hotel after an entire day of travel at 11 pm. the conditions were the total opposite of what we read online; the non-smoking rooms all reeked of cigarette smoke and we found hairs on the bed and in the bathroom. very unclean and switching rooms did not fix the problem. we were told to call the manager to get a partial refund but she hasn’t responded to us, so we are paying way more than anticipated for this vacation. definitely don’t recommend"

"We ve stayed here about 3 or 4 times in total since our very first visit in 2008. And we really liked it. Our last stay was 5 yrs ago in 2018. We returned in Oct 2023 and the place is VERY different. Things have deteriorated. The positives are the place is still spacious and homely looking. Staff are pleasant. However, the carpets stink so bad, both in the room and in the gym. I was sure a wet dog had lived in our room before with a smoker. The smell.. ...! The breakfast is worse than it's ever been! It's like the food is being rationed. A few sad looking sausages, thin greasy burgers if you're lucky. There seem to be families living there with kids running around at night making a lot of noise in the car park with their toy cars etc. The place is being used for housing and not as a hotel. I see kids going to school. The clientele is not the same as before The worst part are the insect bites my daughter and I had every night. For 3 nights I couldn't sleep, I scratched and scratched. I finally managed to video the culprits using my phone and they were fleas hopping on the bed. We complained to the staff. The first gentleman changed the bedding. I videoed another flea hopping across the bed - even with the new bedding. We complained again at midnight and another staff member finally moved us to another building. No fleas in the new room thankfully. We ve moved hotels now and I'm still reacting to the old bites I got at New Haven Village Suites, but thankfully, no new bites. The only compensation was to give us one night free of charge. Sad to say, we will not be returning to this place that we enjoyed over many years. It has changed for the worse."
