"They didn’t have anyone operating payment for parking. I got a $150 parking ticket & was literally there for 10 minutes tops to check it out. They are quick to give you a fine but no one to work a pay booth…"

"As of 12/18/23: Fewer parking spots available then pre-Ian. Restrooms closed for repair but porta potties available. Parking fees are done via a QR code or website that’s easy to navigate."

"The parking here is very close to the beach, but that has its trade-offs re: tourism if you are a local. Boats also tend to tie off near this beach, which can be annoying."

"Sanibel and Captiva are still devastated after the hurricane but the beach is still a fantastic place to enjoy the Gulf. I have never found any shells that were worth keeping but maybe others have. Please support this area and help the local economy."
