"Just beautiful. Who needs to travel out of the country with beautiful beaches like this. So many shells to collect. We went home with some real beauties. We were just there for a few hours after driving around to see a lot of work and progress had been accomplished. Yet there is still so much destruction and damage from the hurricane 10 months ago."

"This is a great place for families and kids because there is somewhat shallow water even on higher tide. On low tide, the water gets really low that you can walk on the sand bar. You still see a lot of sea shells on the beach like the other beaches in the area. It has a smaller parking lot but good backup if tarpon/Sanibel Beach or bowman's Beach is packed. The bathrooms are nice and not just Porta potties. Bring your own umbrella or tent or shade though coz it gets hot!!"
