"No experience. While out on Pine Island we saw Periwinkle Park. Went on line, had okay reviews. Reviewed the website and decided to drive over to check it out. One hour drive which was fine. Upon hitting the entrance gate noted a large sign, no dogs allowed, yikes! Counts us out due to our pup. Wish thier website was a bit more up front about the dogs. We did review once again, it was rule number 10. Once again, would be nice to state such a rule up front since it is counter to what most all parks allow which is dogs."

"We’ve stayed here several times. The spots are beautiful and the staff is nice and friendly. Remember to bring cash or a check. They don’t take credit cards. The park is functional now after the hurricane and lots of lots are empty. We had the best time shelling on the beaches and enjoying the cooler weather. It was perfect and my son caught a bull shark!"
