"We looked at these apartments and were not interested. The unit was still being fixed up so I won’t comment on the inside condition but there was a number of other houses that had broken windows, which is a huge red flag to me. The back yard area was just mud. The leasing agent Juli was nice and communicative however they charge you a $350 lease initiation fee in addition to a non refundable application fee. We were told that we could expect a refund for the initiation fee if we canceled within 72 hours, which we did. I have still not received this money back even though I have reached out several times. Each time I get told that they will follow up with the accountants. Very frustrating and kind of unethical since these are basically low income units and the people being charged these fees can’t afford to lose this much money searching for housing. If I end up getting my refund I will update my score but until then lm leaving a 1 and warning people to stay away from this leasing agency."
