"I honestly love living here. It's such a beautiful area. Trinity and Mel are so sweet and help me out whenever I need it! The only downfall is I wish the apartments were a bit bigger for the price but honestly other than that, I love it here! Very friendly neighbors as well."

"Edit (2/17/24) to add I emailed the managers after they left the reply to my comment. Will update this if they actually “make it right” or whether they just respond to posts to try to look like they care. Edit (10/2023) to add a video of my upstairs neighbor walking around today. This is my third neighbor up there since I’ve been here and the second one wasn’t bad, so I think it really depends who you get upstairs. I read through some of the newer reviews on here and these people are either fake or must live on the third floor. (Ie only posting inside photos of the clubhouse? Their kitchen is way nicer than the apartment ones so it feels kind of misleading). I’ve only lived here a month and I regret it due to the sounds from my upstairs neighbors being so horrible. I know it’s less expensive than other places, but don’t fall for it like I did. I’m woken up multiple times a night by my neighbors simply walking around because the ceiling makes horrible creaking noises and makes it unbearable. Not sure what I’ll do yet, but DO NOT RENT HERE if you can’t get in a top floor unit. It’s horribly effecting my quality of sleep. There are some other smaller things that bug me and also some things that are nice, but everything else is overshadowed by the terrible ceiling construction."

"I lived in this apartment complex for over 20 years. I loved all of the trees and beautiful grounds. However, the last 5 years it has consistently gone way down hill. The property and apartments became unlivable for my dog and I. Several of us all moved out at the same time. Please really look at the property before you choose to live there. They conveniently avoid problem areas on tours. Big issues: The pond was a disgusting cess pool all spring and summer long. They don’t clean it it’s filled with algae, garbage, stagnant water and smells so awful you can’t open your windows. Also, the pond is infested with mosquitoes. Off leash dogs are a HUGE problem. My dog and I were charged and mauled several times. The office never did anything about it. Dog poop on the property was out of control. Most of the time you couldn’t even walk on the grounds without stepping in it. The dog run is unusable it’s so filled with dog poop most of the time. Garbage is all over the property and left for weeks. In the winter they don’t shovel the walks until it’s iced over and then cover it with large amounts of salt. Several residents have been injured from slipping on ice. They left huge pot holes from snow plows, in the parking lot for over 6 months. Large tree branches were left all over property for months. They don’t trim the trees and it was a huge safety issue walking under the trees loose branches. The basement apartments are prone to flooding in bad rain storms. Maintenance is awful and lazy with repairs The flooring and walls are very thin and terrible. It’s never been replaced. Plan on hearing everything and I mean everything from the neighbors above you. The showers creak terribly and you can hear your fellow neighbors bath tubs creaking from above. Top floor recommended! Office staff doesn’t follow up on anything most of the time. They do not have proper lighting or cameras in the parking lot and cars were broken in to all the time! The pool is closed all the time for “maintenance” and last but, definitely not least. Trinity in the office entered my apartment without permission or an appointment. Such a huge safety issue not to mention against the LAW!!! She didn’t think it was a big deal. Please if you’re considering Promontory take this review into consideration. My last 5 years there were an absolute nightmare! Pics of pond attached."
