"Place has fun events and is great if you don’t mind night owls. However living here on upper floors has left our apartment constantly at 77-79 degrees with our heater off and you can’t control if it’s a/c or heat. If you chose to live here do not pick G building if you can, you get all the noise from the Wolverine amenities park and all the lights stay on till midnight or 1 am. It’s pure misery. You can complain but they will just say there’s nothing they can do. Also they upped the prices to a ridiculous amount for college students. So in short pray you don’t get put in G building or it’s gonna suck for you"

"We won't be renewing the contract for our daughters. Great location, but that doesn't matter if you don't like where you live. While the amenities look nice, most residents will rarely use them - especially Fall through Spring when it is cold. Many of the sponsored activities are actually set up to try and get you to extend your contract rather than have fun. The front desk is all smiles when they want you to sign a contract, but apparently aren't given the ability to solve some important problems. It is expensive to live at Wolverine Crossing and the "optional" fees are not "optional" without extra effort. For example, you will be charged for parking unless you make special effort to "opt-out" - even if you don't have a car. Guest parking is limited, not always obvious, and not convenient for visiting friends (expect that friends will have to pay parking violations). Also, we had our own renters insurance before we signed the contract. The management makes it almost impossible to "opt out" of their overpriced insurance. We offered our insurance documents before our daughters moved in, but "the right guy" wasn't available to take it. Then it had to be submitted on the web. They never got that part working. It took us two months of continual contacts to finally get through their roadblocks. In the meantime they made us pay for their insurance or risk being evicted - and never would provide a refund for double paid insurance. If you need to sell your contract, there is are clauses that 1) let Wolverine Crossing increase the rent to the new buyer (making it harder to sell); and 2) you will still be liable for unpaid rent even after someone takes over the contract and you move away. In the end, you need to be able to trust the management and enjoy where you live. My recommendation is to look elsewhere."

"This place is a rip off and will charge you for anything they can I sold my lease and they charged me 129 dollars because I left coat hangers in the closet which were already there when I moved in. Screw this place so not live here they just take advantage of college students which are some of the poorest people to begin with. This place sucks don't ever live here. All the good reviews are fake by people who they pay to be In charge they're called RA's. Don't waste your money on these greedy people."

"Living here was great because of the friends I made. Staff doesn’t really care about you. When I moved in my room want clean and it stunk. I talked to the property manager (Bart) and was told that’s sucks for me I can’t be moved. Let alone my other roomates we’re all moved out. When I moved out I didn’t get my full deposit back due to “carpet odor” that was there and the reason I complained about being in that room. They don’t see you as a person just as a money sign. This place is a scam as soon as you leave. Only live here if your down to loose money! Photos are of how it looked when I moved in. It was so dirty and gross. The couches had never been cleaned."

"I would not recommend living at wolverine crossing! The management here is the worst I’ve ever seen. The AC tends to not work off and on during the summer. It gets extremely hot in the rooms and the issue doesn’t get fixed very fast. This is my second year at wolverine crossing. I wanted to move in with some friends that I met the previous year. I asked the person in the leasing office if I would be able to move into their room. The guy told me that it shouldn’t be a problem all I have to do is sign the new lease. When I received the lease I signed it and it was all good to go. Come to find out they made a mistake and lease was for a different type of room. NOBODY at the leasing office told me that they had messed up and they also didn’t provide me with any other solutions. I only found out because I had a friend that worked in the leasing office that told me this. When I went down to talk to them they had no solutions and acted like they didn’t even know what was wrong. Needles to say I am now in a room with people that I don’t know and I even had to move out of my previous room. Along with this they choose to do the cleaning checks over the holiday breaks every month. Most the residents here go home for the holidays/breaks. Along with that if no one is home and there is even one single dirty spot they will fail your cleaning checks. Even if the apartment is spotless and there is just one dirty thing it’s a fail. It’s the equivalent of getting 99% on a test and failing it. It just doesn’t seem right to me. I will not be living here next year."
