"Great accommodations, great communication, and great hosts. The camper was clean and comfortable. Sure made my third season elk hunt much more enjoyable than staying in a tent. I highly recommend Rocky Trax to anyone looking for a great place to get away and enjoy some solitude. Give Andy a holler and he'll set you up."

"I cannot recommend Rocky Trax enough. Andy and Kristi Hanks were extremely gracious to us, sharing the Yellowcat exit experience for the day. All the while heading out to attend to another customer that very afternoon! Making time for us both. How cool is that? Thanks Rocky Trax!!"

"MOTORCYCLE RENTAL!!! I rented a Honda Dual Sport 250cc and it was a great bike in like new condition, to the perfect bike for the area. Grand Junction is awesome and motorcycle is the best way to see a lot of it. Plenty of great street rides and plenty of off road access in public lands and parts of National Parks. The BEST PART for me was the first 3 hours of my rental when, for small extra fee, Andy took me on a 3 hour guided ride to sights I would not have found without him. When he guides, he lets you ride as hard or easy as you want, he just makes sure you see cool stuff and don't get lost. My favorite part was the alpine forest. After the tour he let me take the bike wherever I wanted for the rest of he 24 hour period. Motorcycle trailer available and I think he can modify the rides to your taste and skill. Awesome, I can't wait to return. Two years later: Second Rental from RockyTrax....Still the same family owned operation. New motorcylces are even better. I rented a BETA 200cc....and the trailer...everything worked great. There is a great variety of places to ride in Grand Junction area. The Beta is a dual sport that is mostly a dirt bike with just enough lights to be road legal so you can ride to you off road area if you like...I got around with the trailer. Near RockyTrax you can ride in at high altitudes in with trails through mountains forest and valleys. Northern Grand Junction OHV area is very lifeless area at the base of the book cliffs. This is a lot of open space with easy and difficult trails that seem endless. It it is such a large area is easy to loose track of where you parked or camped but having the mountains as a reference, you can't really get lost. Then I road at a park called Third Flats. This was the most interesting place and parts of it were to technical for me but if you avoid the most difficult areas there are more reasonable trails. I recommend the Slick Rock path and suggest you down it as far as you can, maybe all the way to the river...and than go back up the slick rocks. (maybe it was called flat rock path, I am not sure). Compared to other larger motorcycle rental outfitters, RockyTrax was much more reasonably priced and you get more attention from the owner. Andy will teach you and guide you (if you want) and you will feel safe, protected and challenged. If you are under 5 foot 5 inches you might find his bikes a bit too tall. He said he is going to be getting some smaller bikes soon."

"We worked with Rockytrax to plan an awesome bachelor party ATV & dirt bike adventure for our friend. The group had a very wide range of riding skill levels but Andy did a great job ensuring we were all prepared and had the required gear. The trip was set up perfectly to allow those who were newer to be comfortable, while keeping the most experienced riders interested. We rode well over 100 miles through Colorado and Utah seeing incredible scenes. Andy and Kristi were incredibly welcoming and shared two delicious meals hosted in their home. We even got to try some elk from one of Andy’s recent hunts, a true Colorado experience! They have a beautiful ranch are are very kind hosts. Having the campers set up for us after a day of riding with all of the essentials and then some was a real game changer. If you’re looking for an incredible adventure west you have to give Andy a call."

"My brother and I first came to Rockytrax when thinking about different options for the ultimate outdoor adventure. Andy perfectly took our random thoughts and ideas and turned them into an organized self-guided experience. From start to finish, Rockytrax was exceptional. At the beginning of our trip, we went through riding lessons with Andy to make sure we were ready for the upcoming ride. I highly recommend doing a few hours of instruction before you get out on the trails, as Andy's bikes are big and powerful; therefore, it's good to practice in a controlled environment. Andy's instruction will help to get you ready for the real stuff. The next morning, we had Elk casserole for breakfast, then Andy gave the group a briefing and then we headed out. The next two days, we completed a 182 mile trip across the desert with some of the most beautiful scenery in the Southwest. Along the way, Andy had many planned out stops for hiking, swimming, riding the sand dunes, and more and had already staged the campers along the route so we never had to come back to camp. We then finished the trip, drove back into camp, and were greeted with dinner and drinks already waiting for us. Every aspect of Rockytrax was run professionally to the highest level. The motorcycles, campers, planning, gear, and everything else was perfectly executed. Andy and Kristi and genuine, good-hearted people that invited us into their home and treated us like royalty. If you are even considering an offroad adventure out west, do yourself a favor, give them a call, and set up a meeting with Andy. He will match your budget, skill level, time frame, and expectations with the right trails, scenery, sites and create an exceptional once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Go with Rockytrax, you won't regret it!!!"
