"No one was shopping in here when i went in, two guys at the counter weren't assisting with anything and yet i felt like no one wanted to help me. I had to practically talk one them into showing me some bows. I also dont get the impression they let you even try any. I'm an avid overspender when it comes to hunting so it's a real shame I won't be spending any money at this place for my new sport/hobby. I can't STAND any place or trust any shop that displays a range of products but proceeds to not want to sell anything not in the top 30% of their product price range. I've been a long time rifle hunter and my wallet is pretty open when it comes to investing in a new sport/hobby. To walk into a place as a new buyer and getting the impression that no one is interested in talking to me is a shame and a lot of dollars out the door. Went to Bear Mountain which was close. Bear Mountain loved having me there."

"I purchased a bow from a major box store, and it had some timing and peep sight issues. I brought it to Timber Mesa for a deluxe tune. It was very apparent the staff were super knowledgeable and friendly. Very helpful and no sales pressure. They gave my confidence in bow bow prior to hunting season. I will no longer be going anywhere else for my bow needs."

"Great place with excellent customer service, quality products and knowledgeable staff. My both of my daughters love to shoot at their range and I am planning on buying my oldest her first bow here. Wish I could go more often."

"Highly recommend Timber Mesa Outdoors. An employee named Cooper helped me get fit for a new Matthews Phase 4 compound bow and it shoots great! Great customer service and Cooper was very knowledgeable regarding anything archery."

"Bottom line - will never recommend. Classic case of new to archery/taken advantage of. Was told that a Phase 4 flagship bow fits my 27.5” draw best at 31 inches… had to argue to get correct draw length. Was told paper tuning is not a common process/ not necessary until I’m much further down the road/experienced. Was told my bow was ready to go when cams weren’t timed (1/2 inch off) Bought 350 spine arrows which were given to me with 550 inserts. I gave this place as many chances as I could. with multiple misquotes of timeframes, I exclusively started working with the owner which turned out to be a mistake. Ultimately this was a fast tracked learning experience and not the good kind. STEER CLEAR - take the extra 20 mins drive to a shop that is friendly and will take care of you such as Archery Headquarters or even as far as Ross Outdoors. (From QC) Pictured is 31” draw / cams not tuned brand new bow"
