"I got there today at 627 they close at 7. The two guys that were working there would not mix paint for me.I didn't want a hard color I just wanted white. It doesn't take a half hour to mix paint. I go to that ace every day. I can understand if it was 5 minutes left. I drove all the way over there to buy the paint."

"Entered the store to pick up online order. First time there. And last time! Almost closing time. I'm the only customer. One employee at a counter was looking at his phone. The woman with the short white hair, (You Know Who You Are) at the main register... no smile, no greeting at all. I gave her a chance to redeem herself and jokingly said, "No smile, huh?" She growled at me, " Wha' do ya need?" Told me to go to the back. I go to the back. This guy sort of greeted me. When I asked if that woman was the manager, he mumbled he was. Told him what had happened and he half-heartedly said he would talk to her. The store was quiet and she heard me talking to the manager. When I walked past her to leave, she said, "Have a nice night." I didn't even look at her as I walked past. Just told her to go to hell! I don't need that kind of passive aggressive gaslighting. I'll find a different Ace to go to. Obviously a management problem because he didn't seem in charge at all. Also an employee problem, which again stems from management."

"I’m leaving a freaking review here. Unbelievable! I came in looking for a hand held scrub brush and all they showed me were dish brushes. “ You don’t have a brush bigger than that?” “No, sorry”. I can’t waste my time anymore. I tried to give them my business, but really? No brushes to scrub a floor with?"

"Unbelievably horrible customer service. Needed a small item. Was rudely told by the female behind the counter that she couldn't look up anything and then directed me to an older male employee who after I showed him a picture of what I was looking for off of their own website asked "what do you want?". I guess the picture, part description and part number were not enough for him? He then pointed to the rear of the store and sent me on my way. After not being able to locate the part, and being ignored for 20 minutes I decided to leave. I went to Dave's Ace Hardware where I was greeted upon entering the store and the moment I entered the isle an employee was there to help me with all of my questions, even looking up the item on his phone, which apparently the employees at Rods are incapable (or just too lazy) of doing? Judging by the number of customers at Rod's compared to Dave's I see why the latter is a better choice for your hardware needs."
