"I had a wonderful stay in one of the Conestoga wagons and it exceeded my expectations. The glamping experience was amazing warm inviting the bed and linens were so luxurious. I came for a personal retreat in hopes of time away and in nature and the location was perfect. Quiet, beautiful, the views were such a gift during my retreat. I loved the trails to walk on down to the lake the camp fire with s’mores to enjoy in the evening and the stars out there are incredible. Mike and Lisa were so welcoming and helpful and the animals are so fun to visit. I can’t imagine how fun this would be for a family. I had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back."

"SYCAMORE CREEK RANCH...THANK YOU for a fantastic Fall Friday! Our family was visiting from St. Louis, MO and LOVED the family friendly atmosphere, the variety of games for kids/adults, and the hay and Chick-fil-A car rides. My 5 y.o. son and 2 y.o. dgt had a blast on the soapy slide with the inflatable tube and feasting on campfire smores. The layout of activities was proximal and easy to access. A hallmark feature was the friendly staff and the outstanding customer service. I understand that a majority of your staff is from Kanakuk Insititute---there was a servant-minded approach that was refreshing. Thank you for a memorable experience."

"I own Shakers Bartending Service and have had an opportunity to work at this venue over the course of around 7 years. The Buttons have managed to forge out a unique property that includes two venues that are absolutely gorgeous, and perfect for any type of event!"

"Overall this is a very pretty place. If you are looking for a country, barn-type venue this would be a good place for it. I'm not sure if it is always decorated like this, but the ceiling of the barn was very pretty with greenery and fairy lights. The outdoor space does not have adequate seating for people. They have four two seater swings and that's all. If you have physical disabilities, are elderly, or other health issues it is difficult to spend time enjoying the space outdoors. Because the only other outdoor seating is located down a hill, without stairs. Getting there involves driving down small, twisty roads, but it's a pretty drive. Staff, overall, is pleasant. I'm not sure if this is the case for 3very event, or just the one I went to, but they do have staff that walk around the venue, inside and out, keeping an eye on things. It felt a bit much, especially since the event I went to was such a small one (under 50 people). If they've had issues in the past with previous guests I can see why they would have staff there. Overall, it's a pretty place, nice and quiet for special events. Would this be a place that I would specifically book for a personal event? No. But I know for some it would be ideal."

"We stayed in the Covered Wagons with our four grandchildren and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The attention to details were great. The kids had such a wonderful time the were asking when they could come again before we even left. We went to the Fall Round up - great event! All the staff were quite friendly and helpful."
