Alpine Lodge Resort

"We had a short weekend stay at the Alpine lodge, but we definitely enjoyed our time here. The staff was very friendly and happy to accommodate our late arrival. Staying in an A-frame is a unique experience, and if you’re looking to really feel like you’re staying in the mountains, it’s a fun time. Our unit was spotlessly clean and very cozy. The resort definitely has the feel being family owned—very quaint and well kept. We didn’t use the pool/hot tub but the setting looked beautiful. There is some room for improvement in the beds—mattresses felt a bit old and springy but the linens were nice. There’s a few things to consider if you’re looking to stay here. The A-frames have a lot of steps and tight clearances. You should look into their other accommodations if you have limited mobility. Also, I’d recommend bringing along some drinking water. I’m sure the water here is safe to consume, but it has a strong metallic smell and odd taste. Overall, I’d recommend the Alpine Lodge if you’re looking for a more unique, secluded stay in the Ozarks. The location is also phenomenal for visiting Silver Dollar City as you are located just a few minutes behind the park. This basically means you can skip all the traffic as the vast majority of people arrive at the park from the opposite direction."

"We had a great stay, right on a lake. I was able to get some fishing time in. We were in a large van and parking at the site was challenging. If you have a boat there is a boat launch and a covered dock to park."

"Excellent customer service! Very clean room. Close to everything you could possibly need. Beautiful view. Nice pool and spa. Very affordable.This was my first ever vacation, and it has been fantastic. We will be coming back often. I absolutely love everything about this."

"We stayed in cabin 13 Aug 4-11. Room was clean a/c worked great. When I booked this room I asked very specific questions about handicapped accessible because I use a walker and the parking area was not flat the bathroom door wasn't wide enough for the c walker to go into bathroom. If I would have known this I probably would have stayed in town. Had more family in cabin 19 and I had to drive over there to pick up a older lady that had trouble walking and the slate of the lot was hard for her or I to walk over there. Perfect place if u r going to do things on the water."

"Nice place! Tucked away in a little cove of sweetness. We stayed in cabin 2 and it was right over the pool so the view and sound ( waterfall) was awesome!! Lots of beach access you can walk out on and the beach is a gradual drop off, not the steep drop off of lots of these lakes. Clear water. Pets can play n stay too. Love that"
