Hotel Grand Victorian

"Such a quaint and cozy lovely place. Kind of takes you back to a different place in time. Giant checkers on the second floor and tea is at 2:00 each day. There's a nice indoor pool and a hot tub as well. Such a unique and fun place to stay. The gentleman at the front desk was so engaging with my family and funny and kind. We were made to feel like this was our home and we were comfortable and cared for. Absolutely loved it! Thanks!"

"Very nice and clean room. Booked the king suite with whirlpool tub just for fun. Fireplace was not real but has heat coming from it! Nice ambiance. Breakfast was great with many options. Quiet hotel (in January). Pleasantly surprised"

"Stayed two nights.. had great service. Breakfast buffet was good. The kids loved the interaction with a staff member named Bob!! Thank you Bob for your kindness towards my four sorta rowdy kids.. Kids loved the cookie and tea time. Enjoyed pool and Jacuzzi. Close to all the other venues we visited.."

"Rooms/furnishings were a little dated and worn, and the room size a little cramped. Loved the Victorian charm though! They have a nice main lobby seating area with a winding staircase to a second floor parlor. I felt like I should have had a ball gown on walking down the stairs! Also another nice parlor on the lower level. The pool was nice and warm, and the hot tub was hot. They had the place decorated beautifully for Christmas! Service was amazing from front desk and breakfast attendants. Breakfast was several hot egg and meat options, some fruit, make your own waffles, breads, etc... a little more than your standard hotel breakfasts in my opinion. Plus, they give you real stoneware plates and mugs and metal silverware! The location can't be beat- right in the middle of downtown Branson so you can walk to many attractions."

"We had a great visit. While I am giving this a 5 star, it might not be 5 star for everyone. When reviewing a hotel, I place a lot of value on cleanliness, service and how well the amenities lived up to my expectations. We stayed two nights, so we had time to take advantage of the pool (great temp, not too much chlorine), the hot tub (great temp!), the breakfast (excellent variety) and the gym (small, not smelly). Everything we needed worked, the shower had great pressure, warmed up quickly. The wall unit was quite noisy. The toilet lid was a little loose and would fall against my back... but I didn't report it, so no points off for that. Seems little, but the halls and stairways didn't have that musty odor you sometimes get in an older building. The view from the window could have been better... it faced the back of a sign. All in all, it was a good stay and we got good value for what we paid. Side note - the beds were high off the ground... (I'm 5'5") and the pillows were a little too thick.."
