The Branson Hillside Hotel

"Nice and clean. Attendees were very friendly and polite. The only bad thing about this hotel was that we could hear Avery noise around, slapped doors, other people walking and talking, other room toilets."

"Pros/ So peaceful! I’ve never been in a hotel so quite. Pillows are amazingly soft just how I like them. Manager went above and beyond for my family in our time of need. Sadly we wasn’t here for a family vacation but an emergency. Room was clean when we got here. Room seems to be newly remodeled/painted. No bad smells. Bathroom was clean. Tub/shower didn’t have any mold or dirt around the caulking areas. Shower curtain was clean. Has an alarm, charger and Bluetooth speaker type thing in the room. Normal tv and cable. Hot water! Entire place seemed clean. Newly remodeled , the areas we saw. Small playground and mini golf Cons- the pictures of the indoor pool are not correct!!! There is no indoor pool at all. There’s an outdoor pool but it’s closed due to winter time. No breakfast of any kind for those wondering. No microwave in room. There was a fridge and single serve coffee maker. Desk and chair as well. I left our trash outside our room since I didn’t want anybody going into the room. Was gone all day and when we got back the trash was still setting outside the room. I set it next to a couple of boxes of trash. We had to take it outside and throw it away ourselves. If it wasn’t for the outstanding customer service we received I’d be upset. The hotel is under new ownership! And is NOT part of Welk!!! Hotel needs a few things fine tuned but could be a 5 star hotel with a little work. Wish there was an indoor pool and hot tub!"

"The bad experience of this hotel started with booking. I booked through a third party that listed this as the "Hyatt Vacation Club at the Lodges at Timber Ridge", but after booking I received a confirmation for the "Welk Resorts Branson Hotel". I wasn't sure where we were actually staying until I tried to call Welk and they informed me that my reservation must be with the Branson Hillside. I guess the hotel was sectioned off with new ownership or something at one point. The Branson Hillside does not have an indoor pool or water park like some of the listing pictures show. Our room was garden level and felt like being in a basement - the curtains did not close properly so there was no way to block out the headlights coming from the parking lot. The water in the shower went from cold to SCALDING hot at random, which felt unsafe. Thankfully our children didn't need to shower. We wanted to ask to change rooms, but didn't have time during the day. We didn't spend much time in the room, thankfully. I wouldn't recommend."

"No housekeeping for a big hotel, you have to go to the front desk and ask for garbage bags and towels or anything that you need they do not clean while you are here, the rooms are kind of small, there is no freezer part for the refrigerator and no microwave in the rooms you have to go to first floor for a microwave. There is no indoor swimming pool with a slide that is false advertisement the only thing here for kids to do is miniature golf and a very small playground. The staff seemed pretty nice but didn't mind talking about guests when they didn't think no one was around the lobby smells like weed all the time. Is hotel is huge and very beautiful but that is just on the surface. No breakfast at all. Just coffee or hot coco in the main lobby. As pretty as it is I would not stay again. We has a better time at the Quality Inn that we stayed in before this one in the Ozark."

"The staff was always friendly and helpful. Please make sure you are looking at Branson Hillside Hotel's page for actual amenities. All the sites I viewed showed there was an indoor pool, but there is no access to that since ownership has changed. We came prepared to swim and it was not an option."
