"My girlfriend and I stayed here for 8 months, and enjoyed our time! Jane was very helpful from the beginning all the way to the end, and made things painless. The units are nice, they’re dog friendly and walking distance to a city park. Would definitely recommend!"

"If I could give this place a zero stars I would. The construction is like a cardboard box. You can hear every step your neighbors takes, every word they say, every flush of the toilet. It is unreal. The apartment manager tries to present an image like that she is there for you.... she is your advocate, she is not. She is out for herself and for Norris and Stevens, the property management company. Move in here and you will get fleeced. If anything goes wrong they will respond quickly but not with any sort of quality workmanship. This place was a nightmare. I would like to add that Jane is very responsive as a property manager. She gets things done quickly. But at the end of the day, as I said before, she is not your advocate. And to be clear: My One star rating is an overall assessment of my complete experience at Clark Creek Village. No lease rules were broken this is not a retaliatory review.."

"Clark Creek Village Apartments in Salem, OR. is a very clean, quiet and friendly small apt complex in a convenient part of town. The manager Jane is friendly and accessible and lives on site. It is within walking distance of two beautiful parks. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"I LOVE living here. When we first moved in almost three years ago, the place was a complete disaster. The manager was totally under-qualified, would make excuses to get out of helping tenants and skipped work frequently. Trying to get ahold of her was a nightmare and when you finally did, nothing would ever get done!! Our bathroom door was broken since we moved in- and it finally came off the hinges about a week later. (I had photos from our move in day with proof we did not damage it). The landlord/manager at the time said we would have to pay $200 out of pocket to get a new door or get it fixed- we refused to pay, even showing her the photos. She adamantly denied us a new door. For a YEAR we didn’t have a bathroom door!!!! A whole YEAR. When the new manager (Jane) took over (about a year ago or so), within three days, we had a brand new bathroom door, completely free of charge to us. Jane has done so much to turn these apartments around. She’s always on site to help out with repairs if she can, or get you the paperwork to fill out to get the repairs necessary. I remember a few months ago, a door handle broke in my apartment- I called Jane and she came over not five minutes later (on her day off, mind you!) with a new door handle and put it on herself! You can’t count on your neighbors being kind, decent or respectable people, but living here, you can always count on Jane. She makes sure you’re taken care of. Some people get upset (probably the one star review) because they break the rules stated in their lease and, as her job entails, the manager has to give warnings As I stated previously, I absolutely love living here. It’s quiet and beautiful, and no matter what, you know you’ll always be taken care of while you’re living here."

"We were very disappointed with our experience living here and we cannot recommend this apartment to others. Be sure to take photos when you move in. Consider trying the rental out month-to-month before signing a lease. Make sure that you get everything in writing. For the price, you can probably find something much nicer."
