"Donna and Larry are no longer the property managers-so any review mentioning them can be ignored. The new managers, Don and Jonay, are fantastic. They have none of the same problems as previous managers. They fix things almost immediately and are super friendly. Edited: Don and Jonay are no longer the managers. We have had a few new managers since. We have a new set of managers that started a couple of weeks ago and so far have been friendly and willing to fix things! (2/17/2021)"

"I'm coming close to the end of my first year here and I can't say a single bad thing about the way we've been taken care of here. Don and Jonay do their best to make sure we don't have any problems. If I need something fixed, Don almost always comes by immediately to check it out and see what needs to be done. They allowed us to put up a security camera since I work long hours and have many packages delivered. He even came by to help set it up. They are very accommodating and make this an enjoyable place to live. The neighbors generally keep to themselves and it is pretty quiet for an apartment complex. It is well maintained and the sidewalks are always clear. Thank you!"

"Our new managers are awesome!! They have done so much work getting this place up to good standards. I really like them because they care about the tenants. Don the manager fixed everything that was wrong with my apartment with out telling me I had to pay for it like the old managers did. And I like Jonay too..she is great in the office. Nice place to live .. I've been here 6 years."

"UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!! Disregard the negative comments that are over 6 months old. We have new management now and don't have the problems that were ignored by the old landlords -- who clearly didn't want to be bothered. Our new managers, Don and Jonay are the best thing to happen to Grand Oak Apartments. I have had maintenance issues in my apartment for years and when I told Don and Jonay, they were fixed that very day!! They are so approachable, kind, and super good at taking care of us - they sincerely care about their tenants and it shows!! Pets are not only welcome but loved!! You never have to worry about maintenance issues because Don is on it and he knows his stuff!! Jonay is so good at the office side of things, you don't ever have to be concerned because she's got you!! Five huge stars - I wish I could give them more!!!"

"My girlfriend and I had a great experience at Grand Oak. The management was very helpful. The apartment had a lot of space, and was in a good location. The apartment hired new managers just before we left. The new managers were even better. We had to relocate for work and the managers helped us streamline our move. I recommend Grand Oak to anyone looking for good value in a Salem apartment."
