"I lived there for 5 years and when i moved in, the apartment was not redone like the other apartments in the complex and everything was old and just painted really bad and the carpet was old and just dyed to look new. My lease said after 5 years that I wouldn’t be charged for a lot of things because I lived there for over 5 years. I got a dog and paid extra deposits and $50 more a month for him and when I moved out, they made up a lot of lies and said I owe a lot of money to set up the apartment for the next person to live there. They said they are only giving me back $200 instead of the $1300 I paid for the deposit. I scrubbed that apartment and left it better than when I moved in and yet they still charged me a lot for a cleaning fee. Do not live there because it’s too expensive and they will make up any excuse and lies to keep your deposit no matter how long you live there. My dog did no damage to the apartment."

"I have had my eyes on this complex for quite sometime. Somewhere between 2011 and 2012 by brother used to live here. When my mother and I would visit, I used to think how nice this place was and aspired for it be where I get my first apartment. Many years had gone by and I eventually moved to Brea, unfortunately it wasn't at Birchwood. After living in Brea for almost 6 years, my fiancé and I finally get the chance to live at Birchwood! It's ironic seeing all of the negative reviews regarding the leasing office because so far the staff is exceeding our expectations! I understand that somethings aren't going to go as planned when living in an apartment, but it's not always going to be "perfect". A huge thank you to Lourdes for all of her help since day one of this process. I was unable to do the tour with my fiancé, but he was able to view the property with Lourdes. He relayed to me how informative and knowledgeable she is. Now have being able to speak with Lourdes over the phone, she is extremely friendly, professional, and has made this process VERY easy for us. We are truly grateful for how Lourdes and the Birchwood staff has made this process smooth for us along with the accommodations."

"This place was nice to live in, but the people in the leasing office have such terrible attitudes. The afeminite man with the long hair, the old Hispanic lady that can barely speak English, with the exception of Stephanie these people need to be coached on how to handle tenant concerns. It's no wonder the reviews impart what they do, it's true. Your office staff is a sad joke. Rude and incapable of effective communication. Move somewhere where the gate isn't always broken, or there isn't homeless people using the facilities. It happens all the time here!"

"Hello, I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude for all Leslie & Patty have done for my pup (Mía) and I over these last few years! I originally lived here at Birchwood Village in 2016, 2017 & 2018 and returned in the summer of 2021. I returned because Birchwood Village is a great place to live at! From the office staff to the maintenance crew; they are all friendly, act with urgency and are very accommodating! Leslie has always gone above & beyond to make my stay here at Birchwood Village a fabulous one! I highly recommend giving Birchwood Village a shot! Who doesn’t like living in a clean, quiet & renovated space?! Best, Fabian"

"Employees at Birchwood Village are pleasant. Lourdes and Stephanie communicates clearly and always have a positive attitude with a smile. I have been living here for 5 to 6 years and they are my go to when I need something done. When my daughter and I forget to bring water when we go to the gym they provide us a water bottles. I usually don’t do reviews but I wanted to take a little time to write this one because they both deserve great compliments. Thank you ladies and god bless! For Birchwood, can we fix those BBQ Grills please? it will be appreciated, thank you!"
