"nice newly renovated starter apartments with immediate access to major shopping centers such as sprouts, target, brea mall, ralphs, downtown brea. modern appliances with in-unit washer dryer convenience right next to your bedroom. however, apartment foundation is quite old and number of maintenance issues will come up from time to time, sometimes depending on the season. it’s nice living here during the cold weather but unbearable during the summers as the units do not have the best ventilation/air circulation. appliances will shut off randomly during the spring/summer time. rent is absurd for the size of the 1b1b units and the issues that come with, once you live here longer the shiny bow that was once presented will eventually come off making it no longer worth paying $2.4k every month (no amenities either). they’re worth $1800 at most and thats already being generous, but i guess they’re just trying to match the current outrageous market which is unfortunate. guest parking can be a pain because curbside gets full fast. even resident parking is not the best, the apartment parking is merged with another complex parking since theyre both under the same property management and it’s just chaotic getting in and out sometimes as theres only one long narrow road that you have to share with the other residents of the separate complex. please also note that the property manager here is not the most communicative or responsive so be prepared to sometimes go several weeks with most of your inquiries unanswered. still haven’t received confirmation or a single response on a couple of my requests from months back, he seems to only communicate when he needs to message you about something first. overall a 7/10 stay. just wish communication was better and more amenities for how much we have to pay. avalon brea is probably a better option if you’re looking for renovated apartments, it’s honestly just a couple hundred more but you seem to get way more when it comes to safety, parking, amenities and better service. and you get the same access to the heart of brea as you would here. really not saving all that much more living here so might as well go live somewhere better"
"These apartments are ok starter homes. Very old, and with no patios. Parking is not the greatest, but it’s in a good part of town."
