"The good thing about this hotel is that it’s within walking distance to the beach. However, our room wasn’t really up to par. The main problem was that it straight-up smelled like cigarettes once we walked inside. A lot of things in the room were broken: the main light switch by the front door didn’t work, some of the outlets on the desk and the headboard were out, and the hand towel bar next to the sink was completely broken. The lightbulbs on the nightstand were wobbly; we had to hold the base of the bulb to press the “On/Off” button. The room didn’t feel completely clean: the desk was still sticky in one corner, and the toilet paper roll was about halfway used already. A lot of usual toiletries and hotel items were missing: no lotion, no bar of soap for the shower, no floor towel, and no laundry bag. There was only 1 trash can for the entire room, only 1 hand towel and 1 face towel provided, and there was no extra, unused toilet paper roll. Front desk was very nice about giving us extra toiletries though. We went down to ask for more items like towels and toilet paper, and they were happy to provide them on the spot. Overall quality of the room was okay, besides the smoky smell. Wouldn’t recommend at all if you’re pregnant. The room was pretty small and felt really tight. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re claustrophobic. However, the interior design and furniture do feel new and up-to-date. If there was one major turn-off about this hotel, it’d have to be the guests. Not sure if there’s a deal the between the hotel and them, but a majority of the guests appeared to be long-term. It felt more like an apartment complex than a hotel. We saw welcome mats outside the rooms, houseplants through the windows, tree sticks placed in the windows, and bicycles out in the court. Throughout our stay, we came across only one other guest that actually had a suitcase, who wasn’t living there and was actually just visiting. On the night we arrived, there were people hanging out, smoking and blocking the walkway, just sitting in the desk chairs they took out from their rooms. In the next morning, one guest came out in a tank top and flip flops carrying an entire kitchen trash bag to throw out in the big dumpster (clearly has been staying there for a long time). There were a stack of 2 tires and trash bags outside a corner room by the parking lot, some cars had trash inside up to its windows, and there was dog poop left throughout the parking lot medians. You get what you pay for. We booked our room for a fairly cheap price, and didn’t travel too far for our stay. Luckily, it was just for a quick weekend getaway. The beach is nearby anyway, so you can just walk over to the beach if you don’t feel like staying in. If you’re looking for a cheap stay and are planning on being out for a majority of your trip anyway, and if you don’t mind the quality, this hotel is a pretty good deal, especially since it is so close to the beach."

"The room looked clean, but it wasn't....I saw a plastic inside the cabinet. There were a few hair in the linens. What really suck the most is that they got no soap or shampoo for guest to use. If I really wanted to see how clean the room is, I would have removed the linen. We just sleep on top with our own blaket. Then, in the middle of the night, while using the bathroom, a rat was run by the bathroom. The space between the door and the floor was big enough for the rat to come in and run out. It was great cause it was near the beach but if they really want to stay in business they should fix the small issue."

"Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Tiny rooms, nasty walls, and awful upkeep. Don't be fooled by the pictures and the nice signs... I should've doubled my rate and went to the Hilton on the other side of the freeway. Update: the heater in the room was so loud, it kept me awake all night. The shower was freezing cold, but when you run the water out of the faucet it was scorching hot. No phone, one trash can, coffee pot was disgusting. I tried washing it myself and the coffee still tasted awful. The bed was as hard as a rock, the sheets were stained. Not all of the lights worked. Nothing was good about this room... but oh man... the 70 inch screen TV was a must have. Could've spent that money on fixing up the rooms instead. Service was awful too, there was no one to report any of these things to. The check out process was a key drop off box. No one in sight. I will never come back here."

"Not good! The hotel pictures look NOTHING like my room did. Super small. Barely room to walk between the bed and dresser. Missing a bed side lamp. Lamp on dresser missing it's shade. Bath tub was the worse, actually was cracked and a visibly gap when weight was applied. We had hard floor's which is fine, but I thought there was a spill on the floor when we checked in and I tried to clean it up. Ends up it was a permanent stain but the rag ended up black from the dirty floor. Had cobwebs in the corners of the room and only one hand towel in it when we checked in. Outside our room was dirt instead of grass and a big trash barrel. Hot tub was broken and unusable. There was laundry detergent in the vending machine but desk clerk said the laundry facility has been gone a long time. You've been warned!"
