"On my one visit so far, this particular Vons had a "protein mix" of mushrooms that included what I'm almost certain are Maitake mushrooms. Those are pretty darned hard to find, and one of my favorites. Not bad on a day when the amazing semi-local mushroom farm was closed."

"Ordered 4 items online 3 of 1, 1 of the other. They were out of the 3. To get a refund you have to go inside the actual store, and wait. No one is ahead of me, but I have been waiting 30 minutes while they call a customer service rep on the PA system. They seem to always be out of certain items as if they don’t anticipate demand. The money should be returned automatically. Gigantic waste of time. Don’t order anything online or expect them to have things in stock."
"I fear shopping here because of being overrun by violent and aggressive, deranged homeless vagrants. I went to get something quick in the evening since this is my closest grocery store and a homeless degenerate smashed their window with a brick or something after being challenged for shoplifting in the store. I appreciate that they have security but damn, the city needs to do more to keep the peace. UPDATE: Downgraded to one star. They barely staff with cashiers which would be fine if they had more than 4 self serve check outs. The line for the check outs for self serve is 10 people long. Forgot ice and boy that was painful having to waste 10 mins to dash in for that. Especially when half the self serve are blinking for assistance and no manager was available. If you are going minimal staff at least let us serve ourselves"
