Dollar General

"First I went in there just to add money to my card. With a kind greeting in a heartfelt welcome buy a new assistant manager it seems. With a connection with her I felt like we knew each other for years , like going to the small towns only general store knowing everybody in town by first name, I walked out feeling truly glad I went there, this is no exaggeration. I asked her if she was the general manager and she said it assistant and I said well I used to work at Dollar general and if I had manager like you in any job, I would love to come work for you. Anyways she needs her own store or she needs to teach hospitality waited tables for 25 years, I know it true hospitality is it's something you really can't teach. What she had was not just walk in the door and somebody screaming hello, her body language it was engaging and I felt like she was glad to be there and she wanted to be there for anyone that was coming into the store. Not recovering not stocking the shelves doing planograms or anyting the store was perfectly clean and organized and she's didn't seem like she didn't want not be there like every store with a. Two thumbs up, what Tom Brady was to football she's got that as a manager or some of that running is any store, bravo."

"Nice clean location I usually go there for the lemonade Milo’s lemonade they are the only only to carry the brand in my area download the app there’s crazy deals and 5 off of 25 on the weekends"

"Morning manager was rude. When it was time to check out she said..."you ready?". She scanned our items, handed us our receipt, turned around and started talking about something else. She seemed very upset that someone called in on Friday Morning that you can hear her discussing it with another employee. She told him " I can fire them as well as hire them." Well, I guess it was dollar general after all so the conversation she was having with another employee beneath her was worth about that much as well as her service. She said the employee name and everything and I knew we were about to receive bad service when we stepped in the store just based upon the vibe I received, not the vibe I judged her on, I said the vibe I received. The store was junky and looked liked they were moving based upon the stockpile of items that is near the front door. She was complaining that the employee said she'd work more hours once school started. She was very loud and unprofessional."

"I've bought food items from here a couple of times and they were expired or stale which I should've checked but they should be checking as well. They close earlier than other Dollar Generals. The Staff is mostly courteous & it's not messy."
