"Two days in a row no one answers the phone"
"I scheduled a visit with Dr. Ezell as my PCP thinking that it would be my annual physical. Instead, Dr. Ezell and I just had a short conversation and he scheduled a follow-up physical. He was nice, but his advice wasn't particularly helpful. I was shocked to get a $300 bill for this visit (It was $500 total with in-network insurance). I then logged onto the website to look at the bill, and it turns out that they had already sent it to collections, three weeks before the bill was due. I then called the Texas Health Resources call center, and they said it was a glitch in their system, but didn't give me a timeline for when it would be resolved. As of now, I was over-charged for this visit, but I have no idea how to pay this bill. This visit was not worth it, and I regret going. Update: After submitting a BBB complaint, I got them to remove my bill from collections, but there was never an explanation for why a 20-minute conversation costed $300."
