"Absolute garbage of a place. I have no idea how the city allows this dump to be habitable. They don't salt in the winter and the wooden balconies are rotting underneath you. With the amount of bugs in these apartments they should be splitting the rent with you. Maintenance is a joke. If you have no experience fixing anything you will still be able to fix it better yourself than maintenance."

"If I could give Parkwood lower than 1 star I would. If you are planning on moving in there, I hope you have a lot of lamps. Because there is a light in the kitchen and bathroom...thats it. Don't bother putting in a maintenance request, they will get to you in about 5 days. Just ask your neighbor to fix things for you, they will be faster and will probably do a better job too! You will have to buy your own salt for the winter or you will slip on the cement steps that they never salt. You better pray to god your neighbor is a mute because the slightest of talking sounds like they are in the room with you. And don't bother asking Denise to see if the neighbor can keep it down, because all she is going to do is stick a note on your door basically telling you to suck it up. Even when that neighbor screams at the top of her lungs at her relatives while that relatives small children are around, Denise doesn't care. As long at the screaming lady is paying her rent, who cares! Do you like twisted ankles? Cause youre gonna get a few! You better be light on your feet to walk around the sidewalks here because they look like a river during a drought! You also better have a bunch of quarters because when you go to wash your clothes the machines will eat your money. I have found out that every time you go to do laundry you need to check to make sure the machine is even plugged in and then go to the breaker box to make sure everything is on or else there goes your money. I wasted 10 bucks trying to do laundry like a month ago and still havent got my refund. You know what I say to myself every day in the summer? "man, I love wasps. I like not being able to open my windows or balcony door because all the wasps that make their hives on my balcony want to come inside and say hi." But dont worry, Denise will give you your very own can of off-brand wasp and hornet spray instead of hiring a professional exterminator. You better like the smell of water damage because this whole place is on its last leg of rotting structure. One time last summer I was woke up by banging, so I went outside to see what was up. I then watched the maintenance men glue on replacement singles one by one and then just banging them into place, but those shingles quickly fell off and have now been laying in the grass for several months. So if you are looking for a cheap place to live, go somewhere else. Because for how cheap this place is, its still too expensive for what you get!"
