"Both of my children see Dr. Shouse, one since birth and the other for about 6 years now. She and her staff are attentive, caring and my children love her. She takes her time to understand the child's issues. We never feel rushed and always feel that my children were given the best care when we leave. I also want to note that when we temporarily moved out of state and needed referrals for my special needs daughter, her and her staff got the job done so fast. The referral was sent over within hours!!!! I love you guys and will see you as soon as we are back in TX!!"

"Dr. Shouse is a very big blessing to my daughter and I. I appreciate her aura, her knowledge, and her patience. I couldn’t pick a better doctor for my little girl. The staff at this facility is amazing as well. I just feel grateful for Dr. Shouse and for my daughter to be under her care. "Worst experience I have EVER had. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!! My 3 children typically go to a DR in Dallas and with COVID and working from home now I was trying to find a DR closer to home. I read the reviews and felt confident in my decision to switch my kids over to this office. I have never felt like such a failure as a parent than I did leaving the visit. Dr Shouse has no bedside manner in my opinion. She was not friendly or inviting to us at all. We always take all 3 kids at once and they told us that would not be an issue, but apparently for her it was. She called 2 of my 3 children obese. My 2 20 month old twins were fighting her to get checked out so she pretty much refused to check them, then the same with my 4yr old. Scolded my children for dropping a few animal crackers on the floor stating "We don't do that here, I don't have time to clean the room after each patient." One of my twins has a slightly turned in foot from being in the womb and I asked 3 times to check it and she never did. She literally did not say one positive thing except that my smaller twin (who barely eats) "is what a normal toddler should look like." I was told from my initial phone call that they would be getting the records from our prior DR so we would know what shots the kids needed. That was never done and when I asked her she stated "that is your job, not ours we are busy with our other patients." Neither of my sons received shots at all not even a flu shot. My daughter was allowed to get a few shots based on her age, but dont even get me started on how they told her that she was going to get shots, made me hold her down on the table and then proceeded to count down so that my 4 yr old was well aware of what was about to happen. I have never in my life heard my daughter scream and cry so loud in my life. How can a pediatrician have such a horrible rapport with parents and children? I suffer with extreme anxiety and after leaving this HORRIBLE appointment I experienced the worst anxiety attack I have ever had!!! My daughter made me promise her that she would never have to go to that place again. If you care about your children at all stay as far away from Dr. Theresa Shouse as you can!!!! I will absolutely continue to drive over an hour to Dallas to take my kids to a DR I can trust and has my kids best interest at heart. Not someone that belittles you as a parent and tells your 20 month old and 4yr old that they are obese. You should absolutely be ashamed of yourself!!!"

"We love Dr. Shouse!! She is so tuned in to what is going on with my 11 year old daughter which gives me peace of mind. Dr. Shouse takes the time to ask my daughter questions and talk about what is coming up with her growth which is what Emma needs and appreciates. Dr. Shouse treats my daughter like family and truly cares about her health."

"My wife and I are very happy with the service and care we receive with Dr Shouse and Pediatric Associates of Plano. She has been terrific to work with. We feel like she is very competent and knowledgeable in the pediatric field. She also has a great bedside manner with our daughter. The staff also is great with helping to decipher our insurance plans."
