Huntington Richmond

"My elderly parents have lived at The Huntington Richmond for over a year. They have never been late on their payments. However, this month (November) the auto payments I set up on their account the payment crossed with their social security deposit. Instead of the leasing office notifying before the 5th (when late), they knocked on their door on the 15th and handed my 80-yr old elderly father a notice to vacate by the 17th (2 days). No one left a telephone message or correspondence prior to the 15th. I immediately contacted the leasing assistant whom i've always communicated with and she was in the hospital. I then contacted the onsite manager who was rude and said that they were very busy and she could not get to everything because her assistant was hospitalized and blamed everything on her. My mother immediately the very next day obtained certified funds and took it to the manager. As my mother turned to leave her office the manager stated that she would not communicate with me again (her daughter) because I had spoken with the assistant and not with her initially. She was upset that I had informed the very able assistant that her manager blamed her for the entire mix up while she was out sick. The onsite manager is rude, doesn't take accountability, and is not fully equipped to perform her job while the assistant is out sick."

"Marci I hope I spelled her name right,she needs to be removed. She is not a good manager. Over all the property is beautifully kept. My neighbors are friendly, and Cassandra is the assistant manager, she should be the Manger."

"The property is well kept and the residents are friendly. The pool, patio with 2 grills, the putting green, and the giant chess game are all available to residents. There are monthly activities set up for the residents as well."

"They take advantage of seniors in every way possible. From promising certain floor plans to then and then on move in date given them something else and saying too bad to charging high internet service per unit from a company no one has ever heard of. Plus the service is crummy. Management lies to residence and doesn’t care. They take advantage of the difficulty of the elderly by giving no grace for 1 day late rent and charging an astronomical late fee. It is hard for elderly to move so the raise the rent quit a bit knowing that. Can’t believe they get 5 stars because all I see is elderly abuse!!!"

"I'm so glad my Mom is in a place where she is not only comfortable, but she feels safe. The staff is awesome, the neighbors are friendly and there are so many added bonuses on this property."
