Waterside Village

"I wish I could give two ratings, one for Galeb (front desk assistant) and maintenance staff, and one for the property management. The first rating would be 5/5 if not more. Super friendly service, professional, and kind throughout. The second rating would be 0, if not lower. Management is money hungry and will fine you on anything or take it out from your deposit, while they can’t keep the trash pickup service on time, or the compound gates locked properly. Security? Forget about it, multiple instances of car vandalism, and management doesn’t care. I strongly advise anyone considering living here not to do so, at least until management start doing a better job."

"This place is absolutely horrendous. They boast security and yet they have random people that consistantly try to get into peoples houses. Where is the security officer, no where. Then along with security they have gates that will make sure your cars are safe. Wrong there too, the gates are stuck open more often than not, and what does this lead to? Cars on blocks and vandalized. you want a lack of security then this is the place for you. Oh and when you have a problem with someone trying to break into your house, the manager doesnt have time for you, she is too busy. do not live here, that is my warning to you. Next lets talk about packages, while they have a special hub where the packages go, somehow they disappear. Please do yourself a favor do not even bother here, unless they completely overhaul the people at the front desks and actually do something about the security."

"A home for conartist. After the change in property management and the leap to Resman auto payments are unreliable. We were charged extra because they're website couldn't function properly or offer an advance notice that the payment did not go through. They also have been raising rent annually with little to no incentive to renew a contract here. More focused on events then offering practical solutions, also do not offer for certain services to not be included. The gym is trash, the trash valet is unnecessary and quite frankly the only staff here worth thanking are the grounds keepers. The repair staff will also not do anything 75% of the time. Our washing machine was broke and every time we put a work order in they simply replied with "Put less clothes in". Only after multiple complaints did they finally replace the machine."

"I have lived at Waterside Village for almost 3 1/2 years. My wife and I love it here. The management is awesome and always eager to to assist in any way. The apartments are well maintained and the maintenance department is always prompt in addressing any repairs needed. I have looked at several other apartments in the area and always give Waterside Village my number 1 choice. Tom, Angie and Galeb are awesome. I just renewed my lease for an additional 15 months. I couldn’t be happier."

"Want to live in Richmond but feel as if you live in the middle of third ward? This is the place for you. Cars on bricks, tenants fighting in the halls, police making their appearance every weekend, overcrowded “pool parties”, package thieves, something is always broken, unprofessional office staff. Front gate has been broken for months now, not that it made any difference in the amount of crime here. Change of ownership left this place in the hands of terrible management. Even for the price you pay, it’s not worth it."
