"My husband & I had been interested in these apartments for months & once our lease at our current apartment was almost up we decided to give The Atrium office a call. At first Kassie was very nice & helpful, however, when we asked how much we would have to pay before moving in, she was asking for almost $2000. She was charging a pro rated fee for moving in early (which we didn't mind) & first & last months rent. When we asked if we could see the apartments she said we could do a 3D tour online (which we did, but we wanted to see them in person). After telling her how interested we were in seeing them, she told us she had several people interested in the apartment & she couldn't guarantee it was ours unless we gave her $450 as a holding fee (which she never mentioned in previous conversations). We then asked if once we saw it & we decided not to get it, if we could get our money back to which she said legally they couldn't keep it (which was our mistake for not getting this in writing). We were very interested based off the 3D model so we didn't think we'd change our mind once we saw it in person which is why we decided to give her the money. We were never given a reciept, written statement or any written document regarding this fee as most apartments should provide when receiving the money. Move in date was Sept. 15th & was changed on us not once, but three times. We had been telling her we wanted to see it since Sept. 5th & didn't actually get to see it until Sept. 21st because she kept saying it wasn't ready, all while she had our $450 to see the apartment. When we asked when it would be ready so we could know when to move & how much we would be charged for a pro rated fee, Kassie responded with "That depends, how much money do you have on hand?". Once we finally saw the apartment 2 weeks later, we realized it was completely different than the 3D model they have for advertisement online. When we asked for our money back, Kassie said she was not sure she would be able to give it back due to the apartment being off the market for so long even though we had been ready to see it for weeks. The apartment was off the market for so long due to them not having it ready to be seen by potential renters & the only reason we gave Kassie money was because based on our conversations she implied if we gave her the money, she'd have it ready for us within days. We demanded to be emailed a copy of our application so we could go over their policies which took her over a day to respond & even longer to send a copy. Nowhere on the application did she state that we put money down and the reason, which means she definitely could not keep our money. We called 2 days in a row to get a hold of her to talk about it & never got an answer. After days of trying to get a hold of her, I finally got the chance to speak to her over how upset we were & every time I told her what she herself told us about the move in date, money & pro rated fee, she responded with "I never said that." Due to COVID, all our conversations were over the phone & nothing was written down except for an application for the apartment. I asked to speak to management several times & never once did she give me a number or have someone call me back. We never got our money back or an apology from anyone for wasting our time & money. I definitely do not recommend renting here. Apartments do not look anything like they do in the 3D models. Also, management does not seem to cater to their interested renters concerns as they should. I posted this long review in detail so anyone who reads this does not make the same mistake we did. Don't rent here."

During Covid-19 quarentine, Atrium apartments did an amazing job keeping their residents safe, active and happy! I loved the mariachi mini concert! I love living here, I would choose Atrium Apartments over and over again!"
