Radisson Hotel McAllen Airport

"The room windows do not open, so whatever happened there stayed there. The room and the entire fourth floor smells moldy and sour. I kept cycling from low airconditioner to high heat to try to dry out, and / or kill whatever nasty mold is in the system. The fan will not shut off for love or money, unless you unlug the unit... then - heat box. The sheets were- ugh, - sandy when first pulled the covers back. The pillow cases were fresh though :-/ The stopper in the tub was left closed, so as I was showering the tub was filling up with my dirty road trip water. That was nice. There is no filtered water here to fill up refillable bottles, so be ok with buying bottle after bottle, or better yet stop by walmart first. Or just got to another hotel. The washer and dryer interface is coin only, no credit card, or better yet, considering the price of these 'rooms' make it where your door key opens a door to washers and dryers that don't require payment. Make your money on the overpriced soap with the other stuff.... I know I shouldn't expect much, but wow.... now , the staff- so nice! all of them really. Management, fix your nasty rooms, provide at the very least CC paid washers and dryers ( like the coke machines sheesh) but do keep your friendly staff. The desk auditer did send a dehumidifier unit to my room to try to force the stank out.... it was a really nice gesture. Maybe get the management to cough up some cash to clean those nasty coils. ... or maybe not. Doesn't matter, I'll never find out what you decided to do, but best wishes to you guys just the same."

"I stayed there because it's a Radisson, not knowing that if you have an issue with anything or anyone MANAGEMENT won't even take initiative to fix the problem. My room didn't have Hot water and even after notifying guest services their manager by the name of Mara E. Responded that the only thing she could do was give me a $30 discount. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY THERE!"

"The experience was awful to say the least, the water in the shower would go from warm to cold, there was a leak coming in through the floor which the carpet was wet af on one side of the bed, then on top of that I left my roku with remote and called them same day. It all of a sudden disappeared so I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone in the future."

"Went there for a celebratory dinner with my partner. We were never acknowledged. 3 employees kept seeing us never said a word. We asked for a menu several times. They said ok in a minute. After a while we just got up and left . Not a place to go if u have a celebration to celebrate. Never again."

"We had a really good experience on our stay there. Rooms were fine, the pillows and the mattress were super confortable, I had some trouble with the shower (super low pressure) but we were amazed by the breakfast. First time I see such a complete buffet with Carnitas, Barbacoa and Huevos con Chorizo and the people serving and on the front were very nice."
