Best Western Plus McAllen Airport

"Bob was perfect and when he couldn’t answer my question Juan came to the rescue!! Did not mean to leave our Juan! I was needy but it didn’t phase them and our room was PERFECT anything I needed he handled would definitely recommend this stay to my friends!!!"

"When I was planning my trip, I chose this hotel based on the excellent rating it had. To be completely honest, I don't know where they came up with that. I'm not saying it was awful by any means. I'm just saying that it was just fine. There's nothing to really rave about. It was fairly clean, the complementary breakfast was actually pretty good, and the location was very convenient for my needs. It's not the Ritz, but it's also not a zillion dollars a night. I would consider staying there again."

"My stay was just average. The place is comfortable and clean, however, in my opinion it does not have some facilities that I know are considered for a hotel to have 3 stars and for the price. Since you don't have complimentary water in your room, and breakfast is very simple. I had a small emergency and needed to go to the pharmacy. Hotels usually make it easy for guests to travel at least 2 miles around on a property shuttle. This hotel does NOT do that for the customers. Only to the airport, which seems like a joke to me since the airport is a 2-minute walk away. I mentioned my situation to different people at the counter and the response (a woman morning shift) was the following in a rude tone an a bad way: "if you want, I'll call you a taxi" without having the slightest intention of helping me even though the situation was serious. I tried to speak to Manager but that was not accessible... I definitely could have called an Uber, but I thought this hotel would have the facilities of 99% of the hotels I've stayed at. The rest was fine, is an option near to the airport, but I definitely I think it's worth staying somewhere further away with a better service."

"Thank God for Mrs. Alma at the front desk!! I was traveling with my elderly parents and got to McAllen late because our flight was delayed. She came to get us as soon as I called her and made sure our stay was comfortable and hassle-free. She was so compassionate and helped me every step of the way. I’ve stayed here before and is definitely the hotel of my choice. It’s conveniently located, very clean, comfortable and great complimentary breakfast. They even had a light dinner for us in the evening, which came in handy. No need to leave the hotel or order delivery. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the McAllen area."
