"Lived here for almost 2 years while finishing school in McAllen. Great location for medical students as you are just a couple kilometres from MMC, RGR, and Heart Hospital. 15 min drive to ERMC. Two beautiful pools with a nice gym. The option to have in unit laundry and covered parking. The apartments are cozy and clean. If I ever had an issue the maintenance crew came to fix it almost immediately. Management is wonderful!!! I definitely recommend Hearthstone and I will miss living here!"
"Don’t move here, ant infested & never have any hot water ??? I told them multiple times there’s no reason the hot water should run for 3 minutes max ???? ridiculous & unprofessional & can’t hold up they part of the deal by providing what’s being paid for ."
"Hearthstone Apartments offers affordable and beautiful apartment homes in a great location. The pros and cons are as follows... The pros: location, affordability, management attentive, maintenance quick to respond, pet friendly, cordial neighbors, 24 hour fitness, free hot drinks at leasing office, beautiful landscaping with 2 resort pools, dog park, playground, garages and storage units for lease, gated entry (more on this below), online payment. The cons: Gates are left open at various sections of the apartment community, including the main gate, all the time. There were car break ins in the past and management did respond but they leave the gates open. The landscapers can be noisy and they usually come 2 days a week during the summer. The gym has dated and broken equipment and the AC unit is now being fixed in there. The dog park sometimes has waste that is not picked up until maintenance comes by. My AC unit in my apartment was broken for a while, blowing barely cool air. I put in many orders, the problem would be fixed for a little while, then break again. It was finally fixed after a few months. Overall a great place for the price, just a few minor things. Management is really great here and I recommend to families and single people alike."
"Been living here for about 6 months already and we love it here. The staff is great, the place is well maintained the pools are nice and they even have a great community gym with some great machines. They even have a nice little park for the dogs which my Miniature Schnauzer loves!! Overall I'd say a great place to live."
