Sundance Creek

"This review is meant to help others considering living at Sundance Creek. Some start here as a means to get problems resolved. This one particular issue has been going on for about five months since I first reported. Overall this is a good place to live. The units are pretty nice. There are a lot of amenities if you're the kind of person that would use them. There are annoyances like any property faces such as overflowing dumpsters, barking dogs and and people not picking up after them. The problem I've been having for the past several months is a noise problem. I've lived in apartments for decades, so I understand there are reasonable levels that must be tolerated. The lease specifically covers that. It also says that prohibited conduct includes behaving in a loud/obnoxious manner. My issue falls in the latter. I've reached out multiple times to the apartment complex in writing and via phone to file complaints. The fact that I had to do this multiple times is evidence that it hasn't been resolved. I also reached out to the management company, Olympus. Still the problem goes on. At this point, my only feasible option is to move. The problem won't go away and I bet the next residents will endure the same problem. Rather than fix it, those peaceful people living here are forced to endure ridiculous behavior or move. My advice is find a community that resolves reported ongoing problems. UPDATE 2/29/24: Thanks to management for the response. That alone is worthy of an extra star. I understand no community is immune to challenges I noted. I don't believe any place could manage everything realistically. Breezeways and patios could be easier to manage due to their visibility. Residents neglecting to pick up after their pets will never be resolved and I don't hold the community responsibility. I would love to find a community that didn't even allow dogs. That way barking and disgusting ground aren't an issue. Frankly I could care less about the preceding areas. I'm just concerned about the interior aspect. Hearing sounds is accepted by those living in apartments. Incessant excessive noise is an entirely different aspect. When my doors rattle and walls shake due to running and jumping from upstairs every single day without fail, it becomes unbearable especially through the night waking me up. I've had to wear noise canceling earbuds which is a nuisance and unbearable to sleep in. No matter how nice a place is, it becomes irrelevant if the environment is miserable. For $2,000 a month I expect more. Unfortunately the response from management is... sorry, we told them to be quiet... but there's really nothing more we can do."
