"Updated to respond to owner: I feel cheated by their booking site that made it seem like this was an amazing hotel. Not only did they make us wait hours after our check in time, because of construction (which is understandable) however, when asked for a discount for this we were denied and when offered a smaller room we asked if we would get a lower rate (due to the room being smaller) and were also denied. The staff is friendly enough but the manager is awful and the pics are definitely doctored to make the place seem better than what it is. Shower constantly dripped, bathroom was chipped, door was not set properly so there was a hot air draft, hot and cold water was not working properly, and fire alarm went off constantly. We were basically catfished by this property and the pictures show it. I'm very disappointed and do not recommend this place towards anyone- especially for the price! We raised these concerns to the property manager and were not offered compensation, just a change in room, without the change in price! We were still going to pay King suite price for a smaller room. Luckily the booking site offered a small credit to our account for the next stay at another hotel, but will never again use this place! Horrible! Response to the owner: Your own receptionist told us you had construction and were repainting doors and rooms. How are you going to say you had no construction in your rooms when in other reviews with both negative and positive comments (within the last 2 months) you talk about your new renovations and construction? BTW, it shows you have CCTV footage in the lobby so we can go back and review our check in time when your receptionist mentioned the construction and when she told us we'd have to check in way later than the original check-in time. We did refuse the rooms because there would be no change in price, but thank you for acknowledging the dripping faucet and issue with the hot/cold water. I see you did fail to acknowledge that I have left multiple glowing reviews of other places of business as well as negative reviews *with picture evidence* so it's hardly false, but thank you for showing your true colors. My favorite part about the owner response is the lack of acknowledgment towards the PICTURE EVIDENCE of the lackluster room and our original post that shows we got a credit through the booking site, but is trying to paint us in a bad light. Notice the "local guide" reviews (took the time to see that some are paid comments) and how quickly they turn on guests. Bookers, this is what we dealt with on our trip and while I do write both negative and positive reviews, I always take pictures, make sure that what I write gives credit to helpful staff and calls attention to lackluster service."

"Clean, just remodeled, beds unbelievably comfortable! And there’s a Tesla charger! Will definitely stay here on future visits."

"And had us pay extra for what? Over prices for nothing and sheets were dirty and smelly. No ice in the ice machine literally looked broken. Pool was not open both times we've stayed there both during the summer so super hot."
