"This place smells like mold and mildew. They had a fire. Very little has been updated and they actively have fans and blowers in the hallways trying to mitigate the issue but they have yet to pull up the carpet. I was originally assigned the room right next to a room left open due to excessive water damage. With eight blowers outside some blowing directly at the wall. Trying to dry the water soaked drywall. They moved me upstairs. Now I have a lamp that's broken. I was missing a chair and AC that is unusual loud and sounds like a loud buzzing noise, and a tub that drains incredibly slowly..."

"I have stayed at this hotel since 11/2/23 with my Search & Rescue K9 "L", it is now 11/21/23. In the past year, "L" was responsible for the rescue of three lost hikers including one who broke her leg. Today upon entering the hotel with "L" (wearing Search and Rescue ID panels), I was on the phone when the manager interrupted me, and told me to put a muzzle on "L". She seem stunned I don't even own a muzzle. Shortly after my call I brought "L" to the front desk and explained it takes training to put a muzzle on a dog and is often inappropriate & scares people. I explained "L" is a certified Search & Rescue K9 and is specifically trained to be gentle with humans. I explained and demonstrated how dogs are individuals and should be treated as such. The manager explained there was an incident where one dog bit its owner and she was trying to keep her staff and customers safe. I told her the proper response is to call animal control and have the violent dog put down not collectively punish all dogs. I explained that just like it is wrong to follow all black people around a store because one black person stole something, it is wrong to muzzle all dogs because one bit its owner. The manager was indignant and said she did not want to have this conversation in public because there were customers checking in, in the lobby. I pointed out the hypocrisy of her embarrassing me and telling me to muzzle my partner in the same lobby in front of people. The manager walked away. Additional problems include 1) there is black mold in the shower, 2) the shower diverter doesn't work, 3) the room smells of curry 4) the fire alarm has gone off at least three times in the last 2 weeks including before 6AM, 5) the BBQ grill barely works (held together with zip ties), 7) my door lock battery failed today locking me out and 8) the breakfast is pretty bad too. This is about the worst run Marriott property I've stayed at world wide. "L" doesn't need a muzzle to fly in a USCG helicopter with the doors open or to sit with Santa but she needs one in a Towneplace Suites?"

"The customer service from the staff is top-notch and the location is great. You are less than ten minutes from the airport and within walking distance of several good restaurants. I would book again and recommend staying."
