"My family and I stayed at The Plaza and it was not a great experience. As soon as I walked in to check in staff was not welcoming, they were very judgmental. My family wasn’t escorted to the elevators as I witnessed other families being escorted. The hotel room was so dusty like it hadn’t been cleaned in a few days. The bath stopper was just disgusting. Definitely not worth the price I paid! I posted this review a few weeks ago and someone from the Plaza replied to my review saying to reach out to them so they can help fix the issues, I reached out and never heard back. They don’t actually take the time hearing your concerns."
"This hotel is excellent, the rooms are clean the linens are nice, TV big, nice area. Only downside right now is the battle with the bar that is making a lot of noise every night, but that's not the Plaza's fault. I want to give special kudos to Carlos, Joey and James in the Valet, the valet is what makes places like this have gas, and they did excellent!!! :) Also the dude that looks like Mel Gibson (Sorry forgot your name brother was really cool too!!! just a great time)"
"Everything was perfect! The service was exceptional, escorted us to our room. The room was beautiful, bed comfy, gorgeous view of the city and plaza, and Ambar was a dream, food was superb, and loved our waitress Allison. Then there is the roof top bar. It was the cherry on top!"
"Outstanding. Like stepping back 100 years. The staff was outstanding. The rooftop bar is amazing. The location is perfect, so many places to walk to in downtown El Paso. Rooms have been updated. I would just park myself in the garage instead of using the valet. The garage is so close and in and out is easy with the room key, simpler and faster than the valet. My only two comments are the bathrooms have not built in fan and the restaurant service was sometimes confused. But, if staying in San Antonio I hope very much to stay at the Plaza."
"First off, I want to say thank you for the experience! My wife and I with our daughter had an amazing stay! We were lucky to have gotten an upgraded room while it was our anniversary! They gave us a free bottle of wine to celebrate! I have to say the front desk experience was A+... can't be any better! And the room was for sure something special. The view was great! We did have a dirty wine glass there but that was quickly sorted out. The junior suite is amazing! I highly recommend staying at this hotel! Friendly people and amazing service!"
